I think that instrumental music that's thoughtfully chosen can enhance the sensuality of a scene in any well made porn video.

Regarding background noise, you have to be careful. A few years I let a friend video me playing with a guy I was "dating". We were sought of caught up in the moment and didn't notice some bothersome noise in the background.
