Your interests determine your thought patterns, and almost no one is 100% male or female. They're somewhere in between, usually at opposite poles.

It seems pointless to you, but mentally I'm BOTH. I always have been. Most people exhibit male or female thought patterns, but there is a 3rd rare group that I've always belonged to. For example, I have female thought patterns on relationships, but male thought patterns on shopping. When I lived in San Francisco years ago, I could have been a feminine partner in a gay relationship. I experienced female physical attraction thoughts toward a guy who was interested in me, but I kept it to myself. I preferred women to men, but I never forgot that duality. As I realized my duality, I noticed changes in thought patterns that were not forced. I'm certain that I would have changed more, if I traveled down that road. That's when my curiosity w/ trans issues started, and why it still interests me.

I don't feel regret, just continued interest. So, my 100% ratio doesn't mean I think you're at 65%, but that you're at 95 to 98%. Having said that, I'm trying to see where I am in comparison to say a transvestite, a pre-opp, a post-opp, etc.

So, there is nothing offensive about this thread. It's just a comparison that won't interest a guy who wants JO pictures, to find a t-girl to sleep with, a t-girl partner, etc.
I agree that societies - Western or otherwise - do force the contemplative among us to consider some behaviors with respect to the gender dichotomy they have set up.

Even though it can be generally agreed that few actions other than carrying a child and giving birth naturally is absolutely gender-specific, it's ok to having a conversation about some behaviors and activities being more masculine or more feminine than others, just as it's ok to say that there are masculine and feminine physical traits.
