But, there were a lot of other gay friends that the group used to have, that all stopped talking and socializing with them after each one transitioned. Take of that what u want I suppose.

Well if you're gf's bff did truly transition for that reason alone (though I don't see how she'd prove she has gender dysphoria to a physiologist or psychiatrist with that being the only reason). Than
she's not really a transsexual.
