Well, I think at around 11 or 12 I "discovered" the existence of hermaphrodites. I was immediately enthralled with the concept. From what I had seen on TV, Transgendered people were all big fat bearded men in dresses. These were comedy skits in poor taste and at such an age it was all that I knew.
Around the age of 13 or 14 I was actively pursuing the search of "hermaphrodites" because I found the female body form with male genitalia very attractive. At the time I would immediately shun any image or video that featured an actress with gonads because I thought that was "gay". I eventually stumbled across a video of a girl with testicles that I found attractive, and felt not only guilty but confused about why she would enjoy anal sex in the first place.
Thank goodness for the internet, because I was able to research transgenderism and also learn about anal sex. I learned that these people are in fact women born in the wrong body, but also how their body literally changes to be female under the treatment of hormones, as well as their brain structure usually being female to start with and that the hormone treatment causes a neurogenesis to rewire their brain to be even more genetically female then before.
I think that they are beautiful and unique, but was most enthusiastic once I understood that they were biologically female, even if not born the way they should have been. Female body, female brain, female mood, female thoughts, female concerns, and last but not least...female.
Respect.
