I know I'm not Jen, but I will give my 2 cents worth.

I think they overpaid for him. He is still pretty good(but had periods of "meh-ness) last season, especially during the final game of the season!), but I think a shorter-term contract would have been better.

He would have looked good in a Jays uniform, but the price was too high. They would have lost their first round pick if they signed him due to his being a Type A free agent(and their pick was 17th overall!)

Of course, I am just thankful that the damned Yankees didn't scoop him up. I think that would have pissed both of us off! Am I right?
