Yes, I realize it's a bit unorthodox to introduce myself in the middle of a thread. I'm pretty sane (I think...) kinda more dipping my toe into the forum, I suppose.
I guess oyster shooters are new to *me*, having only gotten exposed to them in Nantucket this summer. As it turns out none of my friends knew about them, so I'm going around treating them. But, maybe I don't travel in much of an au courant crowd.
I've come to like them - but yup, plain raw is good, too.
