Clearly, and if you were "hip to this kind of trip," you'd realize that the rubble should have been in the Pacific.
Of course, your explanation, so convincing except for the mistaken ocean, is much better than what I was going to write in response to Enoch Root's query, which was simply that the reason there are no other Puerto Ricans on this site is because, well, why would we wanna let Puerto Ricans on this site.
