In the interest of being accurate and somewhat politically correct with people references. I just saw an a commercial Adult site that specializes in "
Asian" women, where there was a reference to "
Oriental" women.
I think that it is good to know that people can be referred to as "Asian", while people are NEVER "Oriental.

"Oriental" refers to THINGS from the
Orient - such as food, rugs, souvenirs, etc...material THINGS. Therefore, when you call a human being "
oriental" you are referring to them as an object with no soul or substance.
people are NOT
Oriental.
