You're right, redrider. I know some will maintain that a deep-toned, slightly masculine voice only adds to a ladyboy's charm...
However, I occasionally watch "kathoeys contests" (mostly Thai or Pinay) on youtube and at the end of those vids the winner and the 2 or 3 first 'runner-ups' get interviewed by newspeople and lemme tell you it can be downright scary to hear some of those amazing, delicate beauty queens answer the questions with a low-pitched, truck-driver-like voice!
