I have a question that is somewhat related to this if anyone can help. I noticed than many transwomen I see on the net have very smell or male-looking areolae, which I guess is to be expected. However, a very select few have somewhat larger, womanly looking areolae that match the larger breasts. I obviously prefer seeing the latter, but it's fairly uncommon.

Do hormones tend to increase the size of areolae? I would assume that many of these women have taken hormones at least some time in the past, so I don't understand the discrepency. Are some women just impacted by hormones differently than others? Is it like with how implants look more natural on some women than in others?
