You may jest, but on Sunday during the Canada-USA game the 2-man commentary team consisted of 1 Englishman and 1 North American (not sure if he was from north or south of the border), and I swear from the mid-point of the 2nd period the American's voice just vanished.

It sounded like he'd had enough of all the novice crap his English colleague was churning out, and he'd left the commentary box and gone to the bar.

For all I know it was probably the Englishman's first week describing hockey games.

If they use him for the final it will be a disaster.
