It may have been a nice idea to use Fenway, but to have 15 rows of people sat too low for the ice is as you put it "just bizarre". Isn't there another stadium better suited for hockey in Boston - maybe one of the university stadia?
I hope the next Winter Classic is shown live in the UK rather than 24 hours later. It would be great to put my feet up on New Years Day to watch a game of hockey, sipping a few beers in the early evening - NHL games are always shown after midnight in the UK.
