Condom technique

Can I ask for advice on what sort of condoms to use, and how to use them.
With bareback I get a lovely feeling of warmth and can feel two soft skin surfaces sliding over each other - just amazing.
I have tried several varieties of condom, and tried the lubricant called Durex play. I get the best results using a thin condom (a thin condom from Lidl!) and using extra lubricant both inside and outside the condom. Even then the experience is nothing like the same, and after a prolonged period starts to feel like rubbing my penis against a sheet of perspex - and if a hair gets caught in the condom - ouch.
I am sure I must be doing something wrong. Any advice please.
