Hi
I have had haemorrhoids for many years. First keep the area very clean, use baby wipes instead of toilet tissue and treat any itching or swelling with lavender oil (your local health store will have this). When they get bad you can have them injected with an oily phenol solution. This is an out-patient procedure. It is not very pleasant and uncomfortable for a few days but can radically reduce the prblem for many years. I have had it done twice now. Thirdly there is surgery, which I am told is very painful but very effective.
Hope this helps
Steve
