I know Arachnophobia is more of a comedy than a scary movie, but when we watched it at the cinema some friends sitting a few rows behind us threw some empty sweet wrappers at us during the scene near the end of the film when the spiders start appearing all over the house. I'm not bothered by spiders, but I don't think anything I've ever seen in a film spooked me as much as those sweet wrappers did.
