Snow is not really a problem here when driving trucks. Most people, around here, that have a two wheel drive truck put sandbags and patio stones on each side of the wheel well. It works quite well for providing traction. We also don't get that much snow accumulation here. It just comes early and stays around a long time.

I won't be getting a big truck any time soon. My main interest lies in working on anything mechanical, from small chainsaws up to the biggest piece of equipment I can get hold of. I will admit though that the electronics systems on modern vehicles are beyond my capabilities.
