This makes me ANGRY!
http://abcnews.go.com/TheLaw/Health/...5843396&page=1
I apologize if this has been posted before. It's an older story. I was reading on these issues and came across this. I'm happy that she won her lawsuit. I just can't believe that after she served her country while living as a man and risked her life for her country this is how she's treated for exercising her rights. It's truly disgusting such things still go on these days. |
Hopefully her winning the case will start to turn things around, but as has been proven many times before it always seems to be a long and arduous process before any serious changes are made.
I am glad that she won, but unfortunately I don't think that her case will be the last one of this nature. |
The Law's an Ass
No prizes for identifying THAT quote !
Note I said ASS not ARSE the one considerably more satisfying than the other. There are an awful lot of Laws which need spring-cleaning, standardising and updating both in Britain and in other English-speaking countries. :respect: |
im glad she one/// why there are som many people in this country that are so backward is beyond me... Who cares who you love or what you do if your not hurting anyone
|
I'm glad for her. And I've gotta agree with pink; as long as nobody is getting hurt, why can't people just mind their own buisness.
