:broken:-thank you for your time

from this person....that i do not know yet

Matty,
it sounds like you tried to send a PM and did a posting instead. As for your lonely person,,,,,I've been there, done that.
Such is life.

Matty 02-15-2010 07:25 PM

No i meant to do all this.

If I'm understanding correctly, you seem to be talking about YOUR feelings??? If so, PLEASE, consider getting professional help, pronto! There are those who CAN help. Often one wants to escape pain, worry, or fear... but, if they make it through they are glad they didn't "escape."

Please, ask for help from someone who can legitimately and genuinely give it!!!

And, all the best. I hope to see you here again and feeling better.

Depression affects alot of people.

I have more than my fair share of bad days .... seriously.

It's ok Matty , we all feel like this sometimes.

try getting involved with people just in a general way.a lot of people feel loneliness and if you were maybe in a local volunteer type event you might find a great friendship or two develop just out of general conversation.don't keep to yourself, especially when you are feeling down.good things happen when you are busy and least expecting.good luck.

In the words of The Bloodhound Gang, "Life is like a penis; most people don't know it but most people suck so they usually blow it."

It is the 21st century that has made you miserable! Take a looksie! http://www.cracked.com/article_15231...miserable.html

In all seriousness though, find a hobby or something that you can devote your time to. It feels good to see the fruits of your labor and the pointless feelings will soon be replaced by a sense of pride and fulfillment.

Video games work wonders for me when i'm down.

I'll set a goal like finishing a game w/o losing any lives or only using melee attacks.

It takes the edge off , find what works for you.

Sometimes, if I'm feeling really down, there's nothing like a couple:innocent::rolleyes: of drinks.

if there's a choice...

Well, from your OP, I assume you are a lonely person... Now just imagine you meet a woman (at your workplace, store, gas station, anywhere) and unexpectedly something clicks... A relationship develops, soon you marry or live together, she convinces you how nice it'd be to have kids...

Then 10, 12 maybe 15 years pass and, again unexpectedly you start to realize that something's missing in your life: FREEDOM... Then slowly it invades your mind, your soul... to the point that one sunday afternoon you're visiting a museum with the whole family and you happen to give a 2nd look at a painting that represent Freedom and despite your best efforts to hold them, tears roll down your face... You can no longer listen to songs that praise Freedom without feeling a sort of discomfort within your heart...

Believe me Matty, after 8 years I know how it sucks when no one gives a shit about you but, although it can sometimes make you feel lonely, there is NOTHING like being Free...

You're never alone with art, music, books, YouTube, the Internetz!! Seriously, though: it's a big world. Don't give up. Get smart. There are books on self-improvement and dating that could really help you. It's amazing how much stuff is out there if you really want it. Often, however, we don't think, or know, to look. It's astonishing how many people feel low and depressed and cut-off and believe that there's nothing left for them in life. It's a staggeringly common experience. A lot don't articulate it openly, however -- and that might be their loss. Here's another thing I'll say: get some interests. Try cooking. You'll learn a lot (as I am doing), not only in terms of HOW to make good food, but WHAT the various components of food actually do, and how critically important diet is (and how so many people neglect it). That's just an example, but what I'm trying to say THROUGH that example is that going down a path, even a relatively simple one, can lead to cool detours you could never anticipate. Learning and getting interested in new things is like a domino effect. Also, if you keep your brain busy, you won't give negative emotions such an easy ride and things won't cloud over so much. Plus, when it all gets a bit much, just jerk it to some hot t-girls (or whatever tickles your fancy). We all need some to relieve tension now and then. And sometimes much more than that. ;)
