With over 8000 music albums I have music from many other countries with many of them being Celtic/Gaelic. There is great music being produced in every corner of the world. Thanks to the internet, more music is available to more people than ever before. I sometimes spend hours just going from one site to another and listening to offerings from around the globe.

I don't listen to foreign music as much as I used to but I still really enjoy Rammstein and consider them to be very talented.

I like listening to some European bands(such as Lacuna Coil, Nightwish, The Gathering, Within Temptation, Placebo) and I also have a couple of Russian songs from a friend that lives there.:)

It's nice to know that people are listening to music from everywhere, but I feel compelled to point out that calling music other than American "foreign music" just isn't right. Just because it's foreign to Americans doesn't make it universally foreign. That's why "world music" is a good term, and is generally used. It can be all-encompassing, individually defined, and crosses borders (and since this is a Forum, overall, where borders are crossed all the time we ought to embrace the term). Plus, it allows for the combinations that are sparking such a creative outpouring from musicians. I've been listening, for example, to a Sri Lankan guitarist who grew up in St. Louis and plays/sings great songs that sound somewhat like Delta Blues from Mississippi. American blues come from Mali in Africa. How could that be labeled simply "foreign" as in "not American"?
