Relaxation
 

Relaxation. The train races on and the fields and homesteads flash by. Your mind goes into daydream mode, Your eyes are open but neither they nor your mind are tight-focussesd on anything. Your mind is relaxed, you are relaxed.

We've all experienced relaxation like this, whether listening to music, gazing at a beautiful vista or whatever. So what ways can we relax, ways in which there is no mind focus or concentration ? A friend of mine goes on long drives, and comes back with not much idea of where he's been !

I blame Sesame for putting me up to this thread as he sent me an email which set me wondering . . .

Self-hypnosis, Pot, whatever. What ways do all you folks use to rel -a- a-xx ? NO ! Not wanking and bonking, please ! !

I used to listen music, classical or house....... right now i don`t have time to relax :(

To me relaxing is ez, just get comfortable and let go, i do it almost everynight to fall asleep.

I play video games , get into the zone and relax.

Other times i close my eyes , do deep breathing and let my mind drift .

I chase butterflies on the sunnier days in a leisurely way. My brother is an entomologist, so I guess that's where I picked up the interest.

I'm not kidding, really ! Oh, and by the way, I don't collect them. I observe and release. My bro. is always nagging me to record technical data and stuff, but I rarely do !

Can be exhausting and somewhat damaging to arms legs and face.

Must fly . . . .

It used to be a lot of pot and alcohol that was my means of relaxing. These days, I lean more towards watching television or reading a book.

When i relax i normally go to the shooting club and spend time with
my shooting buddies and do some target shooting
also play pc games too.
