Done Here for Some Time
 

I have to deal with assholes mis gendering me all the fucking time when they know I'm trans. I have to literally sometimes fight to have my identity recognized. I had to take a brief trip in a week for work it was a good opportunity to meet some clients - I had to turn it down because it was an international flight and my passport will always read "M" and I just don't want the same grief I got the last time.

I get to hear "you can't use the bathroom - you are a man" at work. I was refused a place in a domestic violence shelter when a date beat the shit out of me and I was afraid of him returning - because the "real women" may be uncomfortable with me being there.

Over the past few months HERE on a site populated by guys who claim to dig girls like me - mis gendering goes largely unchallenged. This is honestly and literally a matter of life and death of us. A matter of personal safety as well as dignity. When I or another trans woman challenges this we either do it alone, get talked AT like we don't know what we are talking about (you know we just live it), or coddled with "I'd never call you a boy to your face".

With the exception of some very fine guys Ila and Hank for sure Rockabilly, Angry Postman, S-Donkey to name a few (and there are more) it's the TGs who do the talking. It's tireing and it's frustrating because we do it ALL THE TIME.. sometimes EVERYDAY.

I'm tired of the fight in places where I shouldn't have to. I'll be back- I don't know when.

I am going to miss your presence on here very much, Bionca. You are a voice of sanity and reason.

You are right; you shouldn't have to fight in this place. This should be a sanctuary for all the gals. We should be supporting the gals more. We should be doing more.

You shouldn't have to put up w/ that kind of crap Bionca, but the world at large is a crappy place and not as enlightened as some of us and that is their loss. I will miss you Ms. B :( Whenever i was sad or upset you always cheered me up and i will never forget your kindness... Thank you and come back soon. :(

I am so very saddened by this. And feeling helpless to help, except to be the best man I can possibly be ... which means never, never being like the men you describe. I hope you will return to us, Bionca.

I dont need to tell you, people are ignorant. Most people cant see outside themselves and have little or no empathy for the challenges that others face. i havent spoken to you personally or even know much about you, but i feel for you, i cant began to understand the daily Crap you have to deal with, but to think that here, of all places the crap continues. All you can do is keep fighting even when it seems useless and unending. I hope things turn around for you and the TG community as a whole. I believe it will, someday.:)

I'm really sorry to hear that your leaving, and even sorrier that someone made you feel that way.
I can't begin to imagine the crap that you have gone through, but I do know it gets hard always having to be strong and fight for the rights that should be a given.
I wish sexuality was simply a non-issue, and people could just see each other as human beings first, and treat each other love, kindness and respect. (or at least common courtesy)
I hope you come back, as I have learned alot from reading your posts and you are a very nice, intelligent, and articulate person.

I symphathise with you, Bionca, but I hate to see you go. The girls add substance to this forum and that's especially so where it concerns you.

Without you and the other girls, this place would be entirely about tits and cocks and I think it should be more.
