Teaching in Thailand

I was thinking of getting a teaching qualification so that I could work and travel.

Have any of the users here gotten teaching jobs in Thailand? If so, do you get much money (say enough to live reasonably comfortably in Thailand and have the occasional rendezvous with a ladyboy)?

My experience is that it is very hard to get a working permit in Thailand. One of the few good chanses may actually be teaching. Good luck mate :)

To get a teaching job with a visa and work permit attached, just need a valid degree and teaching cert it's not hard at all.
