Is this site still very much alive?

Im new and Ive been getting very into the site. However, many of the threads and posts are very dated. How alive is the site? I want to use it but not if I dont get responses.

Oh it's a nice friendly place to drop into.
It's not the busiest which is why I like it;
it's not overwhelming with volumes of posts.
Quality over quantity, me thinks. :respect:
