10 YEARS of www.joannajet.com!!!
 

Hello Everyone,

Today is the 1st September 2011 and on the 1st September 2001, I launched a little solo web site called www.joannajet.com.
10 years on and the site now features over 50,000 photos in well over 500 photosets, around 200 video scenes and a raft of movies!!

As a way of noting this event, I have dug through my wardrobe and managed to recreate the very first photoset published on my web site on the day of it's launch!

Also, for the next 10 days, I will be publishing in this thread a few photos from each year as a little reminder of the journey my career has sent me on ;-)

It's day 2 so time for 2002!

This was the year when I was headlining the box covers on Transsexual Beauty Queens and in March of that year was when I had some major cosmetic surgery, most notably to my jawline (the first pic in the blue leather suit is before the surgery).

While all of your pictures in this thread are excellent, this particular picture is amazing! The contrast of you relaxing by the pool while smoke from a nearby volcano drifts behind you is surreal to say the least. Another notable event for 2005 was that I was invited to present awards at AVN, the first time in it's 21 year history that a transsexual had ever been present on stage.

It was a leap into the unknown as neither AVN nor I could be sure of the reaction that would come from the mainstream audience but it resulted in another successful step in narrowing the acceptance gap of mainstream porn imposed towards transsexual performers.

As we move to 2007 with day 7, this was definitely my quietest year in the biz and the weight went on as I struggled to deal with the effect on my business as a result of my clash with the US government.

2008 was another quiet year from a modelling point of view and the weight stayed on as I focused on producing and shooting behind the camera and worked on developing a video encoding system and VoD web site.
