I hope it does well at the Sundance awards

I am glad you looked at the article.

Personally, it is rare that I enjoy a "Hollywood" film in the past few years.
Believe me, I am not a movie snob.
But ....it seems that almost all of the interesting talented screenwriters, subjects, documentaries, great acting and originality comes from independent films.

partly for the reasons you give.
Also big Hollywood movies are boring where budget size
is inversely proportional to script/story.
