My view, in my personal capacity (not as a Moderator), is that your post is a sickening provocation just to see what others will post.

Let's explore the words you use.

You use "appreciate" -- but combined with "so hot" earlier this suggests that what you really mean is whether anyone else is sexually aroused by amputation. Independent of whether one might have such a fetish, the implications are quite disgusting. Think about it: to satisfy your desire, you would have to hope that a transgender person has the tremendous misfortune of either requiring amputation because of illness or having suffered a horrendous accident.

Now, if you meant "appreciate" in a different way (not suggested by the earlier "so hot"), I could answer that I appreciate and sympathize with the difficulty an amputee has going through life, and that I can certainly appreciate an individual -- transgendered or not -- based on the content of her or his character and on her or his actions.

Nevertheless, as I read your post again, I cannot help but reiterate that I believe it to be a sickening provocation. It's unfortunate, in my view, that some others have responded with a desire to promulgate this even further.

I do not wish for anyone to have an amputation. However, it is on those occurrences that happen everyday. Where would transgender people be without those of us who appreciate them?

There are those of us who appreciates amputees in the same manner as those who appreciate Transgender ladies. Does the fact that the fetish is amputee rather than BDSM make a difference?

I do not wish for anyone to lose a limb but amputations happen everyday. I have pondered your thoughts for more than 50 years trying to make sense of why me with this fetish. All I can come up with is that it is my lot in life. Did you ever ponder your love of TGs?

Hes not provoking anyone. Millions of people have Acrotomophilia. Unless your fantasizing about amputating the limb yourself I dont find it that psychotic. Physical attraction is strictly visual, we are just attracted to shapes. Nice boobs have a certain shape that you find more attractive then others. Some people find the shape of amputations attractive, it probably is a survival thing due to the fact that cave people lost a lot of limbs. the trait of finding it attractive keeps the species alive.
