Working on a webcam?
 

Hey there! Umm you see, I'm 18 years old and I need to begin my transition. My problem is that my parents have disowned me and I've got like 3 months to leave and live on my own.

I've been thinking of how much money I'd need to start my independent life and how I'm gonna afford both college and transition. Unfortunately the school (The University of Guadalajara, I'm from Mexico...) does not offer financial support, so that's not useful.

I've been thinking of starting at the sex industry, I'm really interested on it. Specially one thing: working on a webcam site.

I've heard the payment is very good and it can let me study and get my degree. Thing is, I don't know if it's really a good idea. I just got info by word of mouth, so the reason why I open this thread here is to know if this business is actually as good as it seems.

I'm not expecting to become a millionaire out of it, I need to make around $1200USD per month to go to college, pay rent and live on my own (according to some estimations I made), so, if there's anyone here who's connected with the industry, I'd like some advice, and possibly some help, it would REALLY come in handy.

EDIT: I'd also like to know how legal this kind of work is, and if I have to pay taxes for my income. The last thing I want is to go to prison because of tax evasion lol
