I would get the splinter cell game, but 5 hours of story isn't enough. What's so stupid about that is that Sam is everything to those games.

What are some good gaming laptops or powerful laptops that can handle gaming? I'm not a desktop person at all so a laptop is a must. Everybody says Alienware, but I went to customize a computer and their shit climbed the price scale fast. I'd like something below $2,000, but maybe the reason why the m15x climbed the price scale so fast is because I don't know what I'm doing and choosing upgrades that are just fine as it is.

Perhaps you could check PC Gamer's website? I know they have rigs listed in their magazines(and have even posted about laptops from time to time) and how they perform with regards to other brands(along with prices and good places for a cheap deal with no reduction in quality). Hopefully that will at least give you a general idea.:)

I'm picking up the Collector's Edition of New Vagas(Fallout 3) when it comes out on Tuesday(I'll also be picking up the CE strategy guide).

Even though Fable 2 has not come out for the PC, I have heard that they plan on releasing Fable 3 on the PC in a few months time(perhaps they will release a Fable 2/Fable 3 bundle?). Therefore, due to my optimism in this matter, I am going to pick up the Fable 3 strategy guide on October 26th.

I am wasting my life from now to completion playing Fallout New Vegas, got it last night and am hooked through my tender and naughty parts.

Since my X-Box died i've been in gamer detox. I could play my PS2 or Wii or older systems but i just don't want to.

My fave games are for my 360 so now i have to save up for the new X-Box slim. *sigh*

I can firmly say that I'm currently enjoying the new fallout since its offers alot more then fallout 3 did as a game.

I'm still playing Gran Turismo 3, and didn't bother with GT4. But I'll treat myself to GT5 when it's released.

Now if only my laptop could smoothly handle the Fallout series. Puny thing... I want to shoot stuff without the screen going all slideshow on me.

The shooting is pretty sweet in New Vegas, they have the option of Iron Sights, The Vats system, or shooting in third person.

Play Computer games mostly League of Legends. I do have a PS3 Xbox 360 and a Wii. I plan on becoming a Video Game Programmer

I am looking forward to trying out the new features! I finally started playing Fallout 3 a couple of weeks ago(I know, I know, why did I wait so long?;)) and I am HOOKED!

I enjoyed Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion a lot, but I got tired of it after a while(I tried to do all the miscellaneous quests first, as I pretty much abandoned the main quest right after escaping from jail). I may try to finish it sometime, but not for a while.

However, with Fallout 3(even though it has the same engine as Oblivion) I cannot get enough! The ambiance is amazing! I love walking through the post-apocalyptic world and seeing all the interesting locales(and getting into fire-fights with hungry mutants and Raiders). Like Oblivion, I have not gotten very far with the main quest, but I have not gotten tired of the game yet.

I only have it on mid-level settings and it still looks phenominal! I wish I had a super-rig just to see what it looks like with full settings.

I finished Fallout 3 yesterday. I am going to install the 5 DLC's from the GOTY edition and start the game over again. What an awesome game!:respect:

I also downloaded the Unofficial patch for it(it fixes bugs not squashed by the official 1.7 patch) and am looking for a good weather Mod. I want to have rain(like in Oblivion), snow, fog, sandstorms, etc. as that would add a great level of ambience to the game.:cool:

Has anybody caught any mass effect news? Since the announcment I haven't seen shit for updates.

The only updates I've gotten recently(I get the newsletters sent to my email account) is about Mass Effect 2 for the Playstation 3. Since I already have it on the PC, it wasn't really much news.;):lol:

It would have been nice if they had released all of the DLC on a bonus disc. I would have picked that up for sure.

I really enjoy CoD Black Ops and MW3 is due out in November, but don't you wish the campaign mode would last longer? Online is fun but the campaigns could be brought online also if you used head sets, to use for team missions etc

The short single-player content is the main reason I won't pick up games like Black Ops. I prefer to play the game by myself to be honest. If I am going to pay over $50 for a game, I want to get my money's worth. Four hours of single player content is definitely not getting me my money's worth.
