Bionca, I just wanted to say that you are a very beautiful woman.:)

One detail in particular that I wanted to mention is that you have one of the most beautiful smiles I have ever seen. Sounds cheesy I know, but it's the truth.:)

newdude 10-25-2009 02:11 PM

I agree she is completely hot with a killah smile

EdwardSinclair 10-25-2009 04:08 PM

Seriously if I had known you looked this good, I would have at least tried to make a complete fool out of myself as I often do in front of cute ladies...

Now I just got more thoughts in my mind to feel guilty about! No disrespect intended, but I must droool now...

jimnaseum 10-25-2009 11:32 PM

Ah, She's beautiful, she's tough......but she's got one problem- She cares too much...........

Thanks Bionca for all your contributions. It IS appreciated.

randolph 10-25-2009 11:37 PM

Bionca wants Josh. I'm afraid the rest of us haven't a chance.;):innocent:

Caring too much is much better than not caring enough, which is seen in the world all to often it seems.

Approximately 30,000 to 40,000 postoperative transsexual women live in the United States, and many thousands more are now in the process of gender transition here. These numbers are much larger than commonly assumed by the public because a veil of invisibility hides the true nature and extent of the transsexual condition. Especially hidden are large numbers of highly successful women who have fully transitioned. The reason is that most successful women live in "stealth mode" or are "woodworked". They leave their pasts behind and hide in plain sight in order to avoid social stigmatization and get on with their new lives. Their personal successes insure that they assimilate and blend right into society.

The social invisibility of successful women who have undergone gender corrections supports the notion that male-to-female transsexualism is extremely rare. However, intense transsexualism is not all that uncommon. Recent calculations indicate that the condition occurs in about 1 out of every 250 to 500 children born as boys, and that about 1 in every 2500 males in the U.S. has already undergone surgical sex reassignment*. Transsexualism is thus more than twice as prevalent as multiple sclerosis (MS), cerebral palsy or cleft lip/palate conditions.

The invisibility of these successes supports notions that gender transitions often have rather sad outcomes. At present, the media only spotlights transsexual people on two occasions, namely when "someone well-known changes sex" and when someone is a victim of discrimination, harassment or attack. Media stories about someone's "sex change" are never followed-up to find out what happened years later. Instead stories always focus on pre-transition life and struggles during transition and never on their life afterwards. This lack of balance in exposure shapes society's notion that transition leads to social marginalization or worse, because we "never hear about them again". Only stories of occasional social failures and victims of harassment and attacks remain visible longer term.

:(

Bionca 11-11-2009 09:38 PM

Lynn pretty much has it there, and I've always loved her site. Part of being a successful transition was your ability to simply disappear. It's caused a serious generational rift as the women who transitioned before 1980's just weren't there.

In reading the brief comments under the pictures of the women on Lynn's site I wondered if any of them date or got married. It seems from your comments that dating is rather problematic for a transsexual. Gays seem to be able to develop long term relationships. Why is it harder for transsexuals?:respect:

I know Lynn is married. I'm sure many of them date and still others retained their pre-transition relationships.

Why is it harder for trans women to date? Because hetero men take a potential social "hit" by dating us and that's hard to deal with. Gay guys don't really have an out, they have to deal with homophobia or be alone. Hetero guys have an obvious and less complicated "out" - non-trans women. The fear of being seen as gay seems to be a recurring theme and social stigma can be a powerful motivator.

To be honest, I am not sure why you don't like those pictures very much.

Personally, I think you look very beautiful in them. For one thing, they are pictures of you, well, being you.

I also respect you for posting your pictures here. It does take courage to do that, as we both know that there are people of less-than-savoury people to be found on the internet(the same can be said in the off-line world, but you know what I mean ;) ).

Thank you for sharing them with us, Bionca.:)

That is true, but it's not like you are posing in a super-provocative manner either. Sometimes it isn't about how much clothing a person wears rather than where that clothing is situated.:)

And there is nothing wrong with your feet. LOL! I think my feet would cause people to quake in fear(darn steel-toed workboots:lol:), something I don't think you'll have to worry about.

All in all, good pictures.:respect:

Tsweet 08-06-2010 07:40 AM

You are such an incredible woman!!!

Hi Bionca, First of all I think you look absolutely beautiful in these pictures. Your very pretty face and gorgeous model body ... the weight set company should hire you for their advertising! (though who would be looking at the weights...?)

Aside from your wonderful looks though, in reading your comments in this forum and on your own blog we find out what a complete incredible woman you are!

Your transition obviously hasn't been a total "laugh riot" in dealing with issues along the way. But what a woman you have become! I for one am very glad that you grace us with your beauty, intelligence, dignity, and warm loving heart on this forum!:respect:

marlowe 08-24-2010 05:33 AM

Looking Good

I haven't been on the forum for a while so nice to see the recent pics you posted. Your bf is a very lucky guy - I mean having his own weight set, wow :)

Seriously, you're looking really gorgeous, so don't be too self critical (which I think sometimes you are).

Marlowe

Beautiful pictures as usual, Bionca.:)

It was almost impossible to not get tanned this past summer! It was sooooo hot out. We barely got any rain in my city(Southwestern Ontario), so I actually got some sun. I have a fair complexion, so I don't usually tan. This year I actually got some colour, which was a nice change of pace.

The sunburn I got on the backs of my legs whilst searhing for beach glass wasn't so nice. Yeeeouch! It was also quite irritating once I started peeling.

Bionca 10-02-2010 09:46 PM

Thanks Jenn xx

shadows - oh wow it was really hot and sunny this year here too. That and I was hanging out with people who like to do stuff outside :/

I think we had some local records broken with regards to temperature and lack of rain! My hose got quite the workout, that is for sure.

Due to unforseen circumstances with my job, I had a lot of free time in the summer(I still do, actually) so I would walk over to my parents house and the three of us would go walking for about an hour or so. We went to a small creek and walked along both sides of it. There were a lot of trees for cover, and about 5 different families of ducks that called it home. I also saw a turtle or two, and heard(but never saw) some bullfrogs. It was quite peaceful, and there was a nice breeze!

A few weeks ago, during a cool day in September, I decided to go for a walk at 3am. There was a fair wind that night, so the leaves were rustling quite fiercely and the branches of the dead trees(:() would click together(a little creepy at that time of night, to be honest:lol:). The clouds that I saw in the night sky, along with patches of stars, were amazing. It almost felt like I was on another world. I would spend moments just staring at the sky, watching as the bright white clouds shot across. It was really cool. I wish that I had a camera so I could have taken some pictures!

Sorry for the thread hijack, Bionca.

It would be yet another injustice in the world if someone doesn't tell you, Bionca, each and every day, that you are smart and beautiful.

When the heck did this thread get moved here?!
