"K" I think you should go the pages cited in post # 40 and read it in it's entirety and really try to comprehend how you have been brainwashed. Take special note to read the link on "memes" there.

This thread is in my opinion rather silly. The Bible is quite explicit about sodomy and Christianity has screwed us up about sex since its beginning. To want love and sex is all about being human, the Christian totalitarians can just stuff it. Love and sex is where you find it.:hug::kiss:

People who are die-hard fanatics about the Bible are idiots and usually forget very important things about the way it was written and why. Those are the annoying evangelicals who nitpick about wording and forget the message that is trying to be conveyed.

People will have their own beliefs; get over it already.

"History is a product of the glands"
Which may explain why St Paul hated women and milk.

The teachings of Jesus offer a great opportunity to look inside the head of most certainly one of the highest living beings that ever existed upon the face of this earth. All of Jesus' testimony was hearsay, he spoke about the Word of God. I think it's safe to say that trying to stay caught up with God might preclude any Trans Ladyboy affections, intiating a kind of a conflict there.

You Americans who stay up late might recognize Pastor Melissa Scott from cable TV. She's a big St Paul buff, Paul accually did do all his own writings and his letters are more easily translated than secondhand information.

Melissa Scott is kinda hot, though... in a stern schoolteacher kinda way... :)

I think you should take this photo to your pastor and ask him what he thinks.

Kindness is a Measure of Humanity

There's a passage in the Bible where all the Apostles come to Jesus " You told us to do unto our brother as we would have him do unto us. We've all done that, but still we can't turn water into wine, or walk on water, or perform miracles, stuff like that, how come?"
"Those things must be achieved through prayer"
(If I can find this verse I'll edit it with the actual scripture)

My point is there's nothing wrong with being a natural born skeptic, no sin in being young. Life is half physical and half spiritual, you can save yourself a ton of spiritual degradation by simply being a good person, but on the physical side, transforming yourself to be a holyman or a bodybuilder or a smokin' hot babe takes lots of work. And all this with a crappy 9 to 5 job.
Ain't no Easy way out, Babe.

What's your religion?
I was walking across a bridge one day, and I saw a man standing on the edge, about to jump off. I immediately ran over and said "Stop! Don't do it!"

"Why shouldn't I?" he said.

I said, "Well, there's so much to live for!"

"Like what?"

"Well ... are you religious or atheist?"

"Religious."

"Me too! Are you Christian or Jewish?"

"Christian."

"Me too! Are you Catholic or Protestant?"

"Protestant."

"Me too! Are you Episcopalian or Baptist?"

"Baptist."

"Wow! Me too! Are you Baptist Church of God or Baptist Church of the Lord?"

"Baptist Church of God."

"Me too! Are you Original Baptist Church of God, or are you Reformed Baptist Church of God?"

"Reformed Baptist Church of God."

"Me too! Are you Reformed Baptist Church of God, reformation of 1879, or Reformed Baptist Church of God, reformation of 1915?"

"Reformed Baptist Church of God, reformation of 1915!"

To which I said, "Die, heretic scum!" and pushed him off.

Yes, that's the way it is.

Thank God I am an Atheist!

The Conquistador 12-04-2009 11:34 AM

I don't have a problem with atheists or anyone for that matter. I just hate people, religious or not, who make it a point to bash my beliefs.

He'd say: Bless me, Father, for I have sinned.
