I think definitions of "Femboy" are a lot more complex than this thread suggests.

I have lived in Thailand, amongst ladyboys for nearly 10 years.

The absense of tits does not make someone a femboy. 10 years ago or even 5 years ago MOST Thai Ladyboys did not have tits of the silicon variety as they were much too expensive. About 7 years ago many started taking female hormones for a variety of reasons including growing breasts. Increasingly they take far too much and the result is shrivalled cocks and balls and an inability to get it up or cum or even feel horny.

So according to the criteria in this thread about half of the ladyboys I currently know would be defined as Femboys and most that I knew 10 years ago.

But this simply isn't true. I know Femboys with hormonal tits and ladyboys without. The simple criteria as to whether some one is a ladyboy or a femboy has nothing to do with tits. It has to do with what gender the individual assigns themselves. True Femboys will tell you that they are men BUT. True ladyboys will tell you that they are women. And thats all there is to it.

Many, whose photos figure here would be horrified to know that you consider them to be guys ( femboys) when they think and live as women.

Hmm... once again the pitfalls of categorization.
For the purposes of this thread I think "femboy" is used by "admirers" as a shorthand to describe a certain look which is a sub category of "ladyboy" (though not exclusively asian).
Shemale_seeker says succinctly - "boyish looks accompanied by feminine features", which is one way of putting it. The Urban Dictionary has the following - "femboy is a kind of ladyboy, but have no feminine breasts and haven't taken enough hormones to give them some of the softer curves that you see in many natural women." I'd pretty much agree with this. Someone who still has the body shape of a youthful male and either hasn't started to take hormones (and for all we know may never), or who has only just started on hormones and the effects have yet to really kick in. I'm referring to a look, not how someone might see or describe themselves.
Some people obviously have different ideas, there's certainly a few delightful breasts that have popped up on this thread! Witness some posts here of Mandy tgirl who I wouldn't see as a femboy (I'm pretty sure she wouldn't see herself or describe herself as a femboy!). But I can sort of understand how her look might fit "femboy" for some.

I must admit, I hadn't heard the term FemBoy until joining this forum. My assumption was that it would apply to homosexual males who preferred to appear overtly feminine but didn't dress or want to be considered female - or to use an old-fashioned term "Camp". Still not sure...

Here’s a pretty boy that has started along the road to complete femininity. She wants to be a lady and does require some help to complete her journey.

It’s already at a nice length, but really needs to be properly dyed. A few waves would also be an improvement. Now for her nails. I wonder if the poor girl has ever heard of fashion length nails and nail art. If not she will soon learn, as she should have at least 1-1/2 inch extensions painted and glossed with a pretty art pattern. Her pedicure will be next. Again she will have extensions put on her toenails although they, of course, will only be short extensions. Naturally she will get the full makeup treatment while there. She will be required to take notes so that she does not forget any details. She will be tested daily as she prepares herself every morning. Any mistakes and suitable corrective measures will be taken. She will not be allowed any backsliding. She wants to be a lady and she will be grateful for all the training that she receives.
