If only I could see the route number on the front of the bus then I'd know which bridge to look for. I probably walk past penis row  all the time and have never been observant enough to see them. Walking about town will be different from now on.

I'm afraid that's the only picture that I have. The picture was sent to me so I can't even post one with a better resolution.

My first thought too was that it is probably in London, but then I saw that the bus in on the right side of the street so it may not be London (or even in the UK) unless the picture is reversed or the bridge is for one way traffic.

ila, looks like the Westminster Bridge, by the Houses of Parliament to me. The bus is in the left hand lane(s) coming towards the camera. If you look to the left of the bus there is another bus going away from the camera.

Not surprised that there is a row of cocks on the bridge by a building full of pricks.

Now if you ever come to London, you know which bridge to visit on a sunny day.

Tbone. Does your commute take you past Westmineter Bridge? If so you can have a laugh.

You're right. I hadn't noticed the other bus.

Thankyou. I wouldn't mind visiting London again. The next time I would like to stay much longer and get around a lot more. I didn't really see much on my first two visits and the last two times I was only passing through.

interal, :respect: on the location find. I will never walk across Westminster Bridge again without thinking "Penis Bridge".

Westminster Bridge runs East-West across the river so midday should be funniest viewing time.

Cillian Murphy is seen walking across Westminster Bridge early in the film "28 Days Later".

Bet he still wishes he looked like he did in the Under Siege drag picture. Next step zombie?

In the 4th jpg the left image is composed of the right side of his face repeated, and the image on the right is made from two left sides. Original in the middle. Is it me or is there's something Meatloaf-ish about the image on the left?

Needless to say the group of car "enthusiasts" spend every summer evening parked in the parking lot of the local Blockbuster. What did you expect? It's not like they can afford to put gas in the tank or anything?

The thing I hate the most about these modded cars is the muffler. It sounds like a wet fart, not like a car with real muscle. Give me a muscle car from the 70s rather than a weak-ass piece of crap that the "cool kids" are driving today.

This 19 year old ex-cheerleader (now an Air Force Security Forces Sniper) was watching a road that led to a NATO military base when she observed a man digging by the road. She engaged the target (i.e., she shot him).

It turned out he was a bomb maker for the Taliban, and he was burying an IED that was to be detonated when a US patrol walked by 30 minutes later.

It would have certainly killed and wounded several soldiers.

The interesting fact of this story is the shot was measured at 725 yards. She shot him as he was bent over burying the bomb. The shot went through his butt and into the bomb which detonated; he was blown to pieces. The Air Force made a motivational poster of her:

(Folks, that's a shot 25 yards longer than seven football fields!) And the last thing that came out of his mouth ... was his ass!

If You Can Not Stand Behind Our Troops, please Feel Free To Stand In Front Of Them!

Unfortunately the 4th picture in the above crane disaster is a fake. (See 4th and 5th pictures attached).

It happened in Connemara, Galway, Ireland in 2004, and the pictures made the papers in the UK.

When the larger green-cabbed mobile crane arrived they correctly deployed outriggers and lifted the car and the first truck out of the water.

NOTE:
First three pictures are real.

The 4th picture is real and was photoshopped to make the fake 5th picture.

The Conquistador 12-14-2009 12:28 PM

Yeah. Deploying outriggers is a must when working by edges with heavy equipment, especially if they have a boom or some kind of extendable arm.

The pictures of the first mobile crane falling into the water gained significant attention for this story.

But after an unknown photoshopper faked the second mobile crane falling into the water and added it to the series an already popular story gained a second wind.

Footnote:
The driver of the white car was trapped upside down underwater, a female passerby saw the incident, called out to a local man for help, who jumped in and pulled the driver to safety.

That is a good thing to hear. It would put a serious damper on the funny side to the story if anyone had died as a result of the accident(s).

Blue: The driver cab has the exact same photograph angle.
The cab is not totally fix with the underbody, so it would cant over; or if the truck were falling the cab would not cant over, but the water would splash.
The wheels should be coming more out, because the suspension is not stressed.
Red: The Truck is cut out unclean. You can see that some grey ground hides a bit of the green can in the background, and you can see the cutting edge from the ground under the truck and the other ground have slightly different colors.
Yellow: missing shadow from the truck
Green: The only sharp edge in this pic, all others are blurred while compressing or shrinking the pic. (between the first truck and the cane of the second truck)
Pink: made unsharp, looks fake dusty/foggy

I admit that I could tell it was fake, but not until someone pointed it out to me. When I first looked at your pictures I did not look at them overly long. I guess I may have noticed something fishy had I looked at them more closely.
