Ogryn is right in that it could have been any object. I think the point is that no one normally has a picture take of them holding a spoon, so the doubter demands that a person takes a picture of himself/herself with some object specified to prove that is he/she in the original pictures. The demand could have just as easily been to take a picture of him/her driving a loaded 10 ton forklift while wearing a pink hardhat and juggling 3 snarling dogs. All requests are just as stupid. Either one believes that is Sarah in the pictures or one doesn't. Asking for proof is taking things too far. I, for one, believe the pictures Sarah posted are of her.
