So far our trip has been awesome. Made it through the Rockies just fine. Found an RV campground in Colorado to stay at. You meet the most interesting people... :innocent: :inlove::inlove::inlove::inlove::inlove:

Not really "dating" related per se (but it could be... :innocent:). Also I don't want to stomp on others posts. The caption was "found my grandads treasures." Now I know where my "interests" come from.

Sex sells... Computers?

Hell yes I'd play this video game with her (looks like 1978-79 maybe). She's definitely my type (tall, blonde, athletic). Actually I would do whatever she wanted. Wonder how old she'd be today? Would she want to date a "much younger" man? :inlove::inlove::inlove::inlove::inlove:

My coworker said she needed help with her computer. Looks like 70's or maybe even 60's? Long before my time. Wouldn't know what to do (with the computer, I mean...). But I'm sure there would be something I could help her with.

Dad!!! Does mom know you signed up for this? $12.95 for a "lifetime" membership. Does that mean I can still use it? :innocent:

(Looked up "Shark Attack" it's from 1981. And I think that's an Apple IIc she's using in the last ad. About 1984-87 vintage.)

More sex and technology.

“WhamBam” for two players? Can’t imagine what that would involve? :innocent: Wonder what year this was? Kinda looks like a rip off of “Pong.”

Of course a full color add for “Shark Attack” featuring my “future wife.” :inlove: But I wonder how she felt about her “future husband” not being born yet. Fuck yes, I’d go out with her. See, it works both ways… The President of France, Emmanuel Macron’s wife is over 20 years older than him. It just depends. :respect:

“Leisure Suit Larry” late 80’s. Used to play this at a friends house. Hacked it and found a list of key words it recognized. We were able to complete it easily after that. Here “Larry” gets tied to the bed by a hooker. Of course you use the knife to escape. ;) Christ, no wonder we’re all fucked up.:lol::lol:

a9127 07-14-2019 06:19 PM

Can't get away from these ads wherever I go:

"Born Before 1985? California Will Eliminate Up To $355/Month Off Your Mortgage"

Got to admit this ad is much better than ones featuring 80 year old men like they use in Indiana.

She was born before 1985? How old is this picture then? :inlove::inlove::inlove::inlove::inlove:

(Out here $355 towards a mortgage is nothing. :()

a9127 07-15-2019 03:22 PM

After disconnecting from our “rig” the drive this morning went very well. The ocean is beautiful and I’ve never seen the Golden Gate bridge before. Might be a nice place to retire someday. Just don’t wanna know how much it costs… Maybe we can sell our house and live in this trailer? Quite a few live in trailers as housing is prohibitively expensive. Maybe Indiana isn’t so bad after all?

Here is my latest “future wife.” Need to go for an eye exam when we get back so was looking at the newest styles. Didn’t know eyeglasses could cause cardiac arrest. God, she’s gorgeous. :inlove::inlove::inlove::inlove::inlove: And purple hair. “Mal’s” big sister maybe?

Did a search, figured she had to be someone famous like an actress or model. Found nothing. Does that mean she’s available? :innocent:

Will check back in later. Very long drive ahead. I-5 to Los Angeles. We will be playing Leo’s cover of Californication. This is a big state. First time I came here told friends it was almost like going to another country. That was back when “Arnold” was Governor. :respect:

It's not that big. Four (actually 3.97) Californias will fit into the province where I live. ;)

Yes, I know Canada is vast. :respect: But It must take forever getting anywhere by dogsled.

Reminds me though, of the last time I was subjected to a "whip" and "harness." :innocent: It had to be during my date with Eva Lin a few months ago. :inlove::inlove::inlove::inlove::inlove:

And of course a pic of the Windsor/Detroit tunnel. Been through there many times. Good memories.

a9127 07-17-2019 03:14 PM

Dropped in on Gold’s Gym in Santa Monica yesterday. It’s not the same place as “Arnold” and others worked out at in the 70’s. More like the place I go to in Zionsville. :( But my truck did got a lot of attention. Guess you don't see a black Ford F350 diesel "dually" that often in LA.

Not long after I started working out for sports, my mom worried about me getting hurt or doing steroids or whatever. So I thought watching “Pumping Iron” might be a good way for her to see how bodybuilders actually train. And a couple had played pro football before. So one afternoon I watched it with her on DVD. She knew I liked Arnold from his movies and had a Terminator poster in my room. All went well until we got to the part where he talks about “coming.”

My mom said nothing. I didn’t say anything either but it was all I could do to keep from giggling. At least she never stopped me from lifting after that. :innocent:

The last picture. This scene is from Pumping Iron. Hell if I had three girls hanging on to me like that when I worked out (especially the one sitting on his shoulders :inlove:), I’d be “coming” all the time too.

It’s good to be Ah-nold! :respect:

a9127 07-17-2019 04:04 PM

Tomorrow night we will park the RV someplace, "detach" and stay here for at least a couple days. The Hyatt Regency Mission Bay Spa And Marina in San Diego. This is the same place I stayed with my "ex" 15 years ago... :( But it's an awesome location. And I'm sure we will make our own memories... ;)

San Diego is my favorite city in California. What a change from Indiana.:lol::lol: Back home it's 90 F and there is an "excessive heat warning" plus thunderstorms are expected later today. Here the extended forecast is low 70's F to High 60's F and sunny each day.

a9127 07-17-2019 09:08 PM

Before we leave for San Diego tomorrow, my wife and I thought we'd have some fun on our last night in LA.

a9127 07-22-2019 11:25 AM

We are headed back East along Interstate 8 which runs very close to the US/Mexico border, through Imperial Dunes, and Yuma. Have not made this trip since 2004 going the other way. Forgot that it’s a real fucking desert. And like 100+ F. “Death Valley” is around here somewhere. In fact I think we went through it. :(

Since this is about “dream girls” couldn’t help but think back to 1997 and “Vegas Vacation.” My “dream girl” from that movie was of course Audrey Griswold, played by Marisol Nichols. :inlove::inlove::inlove::inlove::inlove:

I was 14 when the movie first came out. A variety of actresses have played Chevy Chase’s daughter but Marisol was my favorite. She is still gorgeous and continues to act today.

My friends and I used to watch this movie all the time. Long before I was old enough to visit Vegas we always wondered what it was like. As an adult I have been there many times. Of course you know the saying “What goes on in Vegas, stays in Vegas…” :innocent:

Audrey’s brother Rusty (Ethan Embry) has a string of bad luck tying to get into casinos. You must be 21. So he finally finds someone to sell him a fake ID. His new name: “Nick Papagiorgio.” Nick was “from Yuma and in Software.” Nick has a run of luck in the casinos where he also gets to hang out with “high rollers” and displays uncanny luck at winning cars. Especially a Dodge Viper.

The last picture is “Cousin Eddie” (Randy Quaid) who lives with his family in the desert in a trailer. You see a lot of that out here. Definitely “off the grid” Maybe that’s what we will end up doing. :respect:

(Moderators: Marisol and Ethan were born in 1973 and 1978 so they are 24 and 19 here.)

Well, and where exactly did you think I played?

Best YouTube Comments:

“When this one was popped, one of my fraternity brothers was able to snatch it. It's still hanging in our house.” :( (Me: They are considered a collectible. I’d much rather have my old helmet that sits on my desk at home.)

“We started this back in the early 90s when the Fantasy Gift Shop used to be located on the Levee (where we would buy). The John Purdue Club (Me: Many older alumni. Most very wealthy.) sitting below the student section used to get extremely upset. The best part was watching the ushers trying to corral it.” (Me: Never paid any attention to this silliness. I was always focused on the cheerleaders, er...I mean the game...)

Summer 1999. Hated by many, loved by others, Limp Bizkit had a huge hit with “Nookie.” Released in June 1999, to me, this song sums up popular culture at the “end of the millennium” better than anything except maybe “The Matrix.” :respect:

I was 16 when this was filmed. Of course I used to check out all the girls in the video as they join up to follow Fred Durst. (Note to younger members: We did in fact have cell phones then. Everyone I know had one. No need to use “pay phones” in the video except maybe for dramatic effect.)

But one of the dancers stood out to me above all the others. :inlove::inlove::inlove::inlove::inlove: Twenty years later, I still don’t know her name. I think she’s totally hot. Especially with her “mom” jeans and cropped top.

Another “clickbait” article. This time about words and phrases from the 1980’s you should stop using. :( Except that most of them I don’t remember and others are from the 90’s and 2000’s. At least they could fucking get it right. You think?

My personal favorite, “Gag Me With A Spoon!” was singled out for especially harsh criticism. I use it all the time as a joke and sadly it is still appropriate for many things today. I’m surprised “Awesome” didn’t make their list. Maybe because everybody, even Grandma and Grandpa, still uses it.

But I was puzzled by their example of an “80’s geek.” :inlove::inlove::inlove::inlove::inlove: She looks like she was born in the mid-nineties. Not the 80’s. Anyway, as far as I’m concerned my “future wife” can say whatever she wants. “Like, totally…”

'He is the love of my life': Woman, 20, reveals she has 'married' a ZOMBIE DOLL that she got when she was 13 - as she details how she and the figurine even 'consummated' the union.

Felicity married her zombie doll, on September 15, 2018.

The ceremony, which took place in Tiverton, Rhode Island, cost her $500.

Her father bought the doll for her when she was 13 years old.

Felicity's doll was purchased online on a 'creepy' doll collection website. (Me: Never would have guessed.).

The Massachusetts-native claims that the zombie doll is now 37 years old (Me:  Shhh… Don’t tell everyone. I still list my age as "29." Thanks a lot. :().

The pair share intimate moments, according to Felicity, who says the doll is the ‘love of her life’. (Me: Well I guess if I can’t meet Dove Cameron… :inlove:).

(Thought that was a pretty good pic of me. I don't wear a suit that often. Photographer got my "good side." Probably get lots of dates now... But I don't think I look 6'4" in these pictures. Must be the camera. :innocent:).

Descendants 3 was awesome. Watched it last Friday night with my nieces as planned. I gave it an “A” on a fan site later that evening. “Hades” does in fact turn out to be “Mal’s Dad.” He is, as played by Cheyenne Jackson :respect: one of my two favorite characters in the movie (the other is his daughter of course. :inlove:).

If they ever decide to do a 4th Descendants, they would make the most amazing Father/Daughter superhero combo ever. Either that or just have them join the cast of the “Avengers.”

So I’ve decided to go as Hades for Halloween (even though I’m still not old enough to be Dove’s dad :(). The problem is getting a date. Dating my own “daughter” would be too weird (did I already say I’m not old enough to be her dad? Oh I did? Sorry…) although my wife said she would go as “Mal” if I wanted. That might work. And our friends would probably think it was hilarious.

But of course, several months ago I already decided who I wanted to be my date for Halloween this year. She can be no one other than my friend Aleksandra from Russia who makes a very sexy yet bloody cosplay “Carrie.” I think the two of us would make a great couple. Especially with her riding on the back of my Harley looking like that.

We could always drop in on her prom later and "raise hell." Definitely would be a night to remember.:inlove::innocent:

Even after all these years I still workout regularly. I’m definitely of the “old school, no pain no gain” heavy weights and cardio method. Which for me now goes back almost 25 years. It worked well for me when I played football and it’s working well for me now as I continue through my 30’s.

I go to Anytime Fitness in Zionsville maybe 3x a week. I like to go late at night because I usually get the place to myself. Sometimes there’s a few other “night owls” who come in to do the treadmill or lift light weights. There are some “crossfitters” as well but they usually have scheduled times during the day.

Anyway the gym has flat screen TV’s all over. Usually playing ESPN, old movies, news, or replays of Colts games. Sometimes they play “infomercials.”

Last night they had an infomercial for something called “PiYo.” I had never heard of it before but its spokeswoman (and creator as I would later learn) was an incredibly fit very perky blonde. I’m not much into this stuff but she sure got my attention. She had an upbeat personality almost to the point where I could see how some might find it annoying but I really liked her positive attitude. :respect:

She clearly was not a “19 year old fitness model” (although I thought she looked great ) and that made me even more interested in her. I would have guessed she was at least my age or older.

I took some time out to watch the ad (OK, actually her…) then resumed my workout. When I got back home early this morning I looked up “PiYo.”

Her name is Chalene Johnson and she was born in 1969 which makes her 50. Damn. They should put her in those stupid “Born before 1985” ads instead of all those 80 year old men. Who knows, I might even join the “AARP.”

I learned more about PiYo but also learned that Chalene is married. :( But then so am I. Sigh…

Anyway here’s a few pictures of Chalene. Does PiYo work? Probably. Any exercise program will if you stick with it. But I was looking mostly at the last picture. I was thinking that I’d have to get underneath her to really find out. :innocent: If she ever wants to visit Zionsville, it's a date. :inlove::inlove::inlove::inlove::inlove:

I had presented the case of Mr. Ratelband several months ago but somehow it got deleted. Like so many things in life, it seems it all comes down to getting laid. :innocent: He had petitioned a judge to reduce his legal age by 20 years. Anyway, here is his story once again:

Quote:

Emile Ratelband of the Netherlands, claims to have a “45-year-old body,” describing himself as a “young god.” If he feels so young, is in such good health, and really is godly, why the need to change his official age?

69-year-olds don’t get as many hits on Tinder.

“When I’m on Tinder and it says I’m 69, I don’t get an answer. When I’m 49, with the face I have, I will be in a luxurious position.” Emile told Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf.

Emile Ratelband is reportedly a media personality who voiced Vladmir Trunkov in the Dutch-dub of Pixar’s Cars 2. He also calls himself an entrepreneur and self-help guru.

Ratelband also claims that because of his advanced age, companies aren’t willing to hire him. In his defense, the entertainment industry is terrible about hiring people over a certain age – no matter how good you look.

However, Mr. Ratelband‘s claim that “You can change your name. You can change your gender. Why not your age?” is a bit myopic. Mr. Ratelband isn’t outwardly female, LGBTQ+, a person of color, or of a low economic class, so him saying age is more discriminated against than anthing else it’s a bit insensitive.
It’s this last part of Ratelband’s argument that I find particularly offensive. It shows his complete lack of understanding of what it means to be Transgender. And a “young god” he is not. A quick scan of his picture on the “How Old Do I Look” app shows that he may wish to have significantly more years legally deducted from his age. Or find one hell of a good plastic surgeon.

But he has given me a great idea!!! I’ve decided to petition a judge to make me “18” again so that I can be the same age as Hayley Williams in these pictures. :inlove::inlove::inlove::inlove::inlove::inlove:

(Note: The court as expected, turned down Mr. Ratelband’s request. Guess he’ll have to suck it up or lie like the rest of us…)

It's been fun

This is as good a place as any to post this.

While I will remain a member of TLB, I’m just not into it anymore. Not really worth the trouble to participate anymore. I am beginning another school year and after getting back from vacation, my company is picking up a lot of business. My WordPress site is getting far more recognition for my posts and stories. Been using the “Trans Ally” flag as my logo which makes more sense as I identify as “straight” yet have had relationships with transwomen. Also I’m married to a ciswoman. I have a lot of life experiences to share.

On my WordPress site I have far greater freedom (and control over) whatever I want to post and don’t have to worry about things getting “stomped on” or putting up with snide comments from other users. My biography on WordPress has gotten a lot of reaction and many have said they liked my profile picture. One of my wife’s friends even said I “looked 23” and another said I “couldn’t be over 30.” :innocent: So I guess I can’t complain.

There’s no need to be anonymous either. No porn involved and I can discuss issues of importance. I’m better able to support my friends in the LGBT community. Hell, other than my language sometimes, I’d not be ashamed to let my Mom or Dad read it.

Probably my best read piece was my tribute to Sharon Tate last summer. It got more views and likes than anything I’ve ever posted. Interestingly it got absolutely zero attention on this site. That among other things told me this really isn’t the place for me. Good luck to the future of TLB. And I hope my friends on here will stay in touch. You are the reason I’ve remained as long as I have. :respect:

This is NOT meant to be political in any way. In fact I’ve always carefully avoided discussing politics on here. Saw this today on CNN and simply thought it was an “interesting” picture. Obviously others did too, it’s already gone “viral.”

I think First Lady Melania Trump is an attractive woman and not really that old (49). Justin Trudeau, Prime Minister of Canada, is considered very handsome among world leaders and is himself only in his 40’s. I'm sure nothing was going on.

But if that was me I’d be like “Room 605. 8:00 tonight?” :inlove: :innocent:

Hopefully this will usher in a new era of friendship and cooperation between the United States and our neighbors to the North. :respect:

No “infomercials” last night at the gym. I was hoping to see my “PiYo” friend Chalene again. :inlove::inlove::inlove::inlove::inlove: She really does need to stop by Zionsville sometime. But I do remember these from years ago… The “Shake Weight.” Used to be commercials for them all the time. I even know someone who bought one (against my advice :().

The Penis Lives!

The Purdue “penis” has its beginnings in the 1990’s. I really don’t know how it got started. Or why a penis. Maybe when you don’t win games the fans look for other things to focus on. I never payed attention to it. You learn to “block out” everything anyway. I only knew of it from TV, our student newspaper, and some of the guys in my dorm. There was an unfortunate situation a few years ago where a player was injured and the crowd kept bouncing it around. That became a big story on ESPN. Not a good thing…

Yes we sucked or were mediocre for most of the time I was there. I often wonder what would have happened if my family had stayed in Michigan? Michigan State (my Dad’s alma matter) was very interested in me and there was a possible “full ride” scholarship. What made things hard is that I had to “try out” as a “unknown” walk on my Freshman year so I struggled. Injuries did not help. And my parents, especially, wanted me to focus on my classes. I started in Engineering. My degree by the way is in "Industrial Management." Looking back, guess I shoulda gone to “IU” but they were worse… :( My first wife had been a cheerleader at IU and was instrumental in helping me get into grad school there. Both my wives are nurses. They both have thought I displayed signs of "CTE."

Purdue football has been good at times (not recently however). Just before we moved down here, they had a decent team with a really good quarterback. I know you’ve heard of him. His name is Drew Brees. I’ve met him before. Not that much older than me. Good guy. Future HOF. :respect: With Andrew Luck’s retirement, Brees is probably my favorite NFL player. I still think the Saints got screwed last year (the “no call” if you follow football).

There is an unconfirmed “rumor” circulating in Indianapolis that if Jacoby Brissett has a poor start, the Colts may try to land a “veteran” QB. The name being tossed around is familiar to Colts fans: Manning. Only this time Eli.

Well not that anyone cares, but wow, that "rumor" was short lived... :( Sunday the Colts signed Jacoby Brissett to a $30 million 2 year contract  and signed Brian Hoyer (once the Browns "backup" for Johnny Manziel). So I guess no Eli. I thought it would have been awesome. :respect:

Also, to set the record straight, I struggled only as a "walk on" at Purdue my Freshman year. Did OK after that. But no we weren't very good. Rather would have played for Michigan State on a full scholarship. And yes, concussions are a serious issue. The new helmets don't seem to help that much. :( I'm sure I will always have some trouble as I get older.

Was it worth it? In many ways, yes. Especially the opportunity to play at that level.

Good things such as Teamwork, Leadership, Sense of Accomplishment, Connections in Business, Performing in front of thousands of people, learning about the Media, Public Speaking, etc. derived from football have helped me in my two other careers. And everything else has pretty much healed up over time. So in my 30's I'm in great shape other than possible CTE and the ocasional pain and "stiffness" when I get out of bed in the morning. Anyway I'd be too "old and slow" to play now... Unless I was a Quarterback or Kicker.

Since my football career ended my proudest achievement has been to recieve a special "Heavy Hitter" skull and crossbones t-shirt from my students who play at our university. This shirt was given only to outstanding defensive players on our National Championship team in 2012. It meant a lot to me. :respect:

It's kind of like a lifetime "fraternity." So yeah, it was worth it.

Andy

Early this morning I was getting ready for class and checked CNN to see what the “latest” on the Hurricane was. Who should show up but one of my “future wives.” :inlove::inlove::inlove::inlove::inlove:

The first pic is from the ad for the sweatshirt that is supposed to “Disrupt American Manufacturing.” She’s allegedly an “Apple Engineer.” :respect: We’d have a lot in common. If not, we could always base it on sex… :innocent:

Haven’t seen her in a long time. Thought she had forgotten all about me. :(

Anyway, still don’t know her name… figured if she’s following me around like that she must really like me.

So I thought I’d ask her out this weekend.

Only problem was I couldn’t find a name. But I did find a few more pictures. Hope my wife doesn’t find out…

Aspen Brooks screencaps from a video interview.

The video is just over 11 minutes long and not hard to find. Probably too long to post on here. Definitely watch it ‘till the end… ;)

God, she looks so sexy in those ripped jeans. “Future wife”? Of course she is. :inlove::inlove::inlove::inlove::inlove:

(My first thought while watching this clip is what else is between her legs that I’d like to suck? :turnon: Hint: It’s not from McDonalds. :innocent:)

Some Final Advice

Below was my response to someone's question about dating in another thread. Thought I'd quote it again here. No you are not gay—although it wouldn’t matter if you were—and everything about your attraction to “t-girls” is normal. Don’t worry about it!

Very interesting question and thread. I’m not sure what is really “different.” Call me naive if you will but wouldn’t you be attracted to the same things in someone regardless of that person’s sexual orientation or gender identity? I can’t speak for everyone but that’s at least how I feel about it.

One thing I do think is true is the best way to meet someone is face to face. That could mean a bar or club, a gym, taking a class, volunteering, etc. Maybe you could become more involved in LGBT activities? I have been to several “Days of Remembrance” and there was often time to “mix” afterward. I’ve attended many “pride” events as well. And been invited to parties. You never know who you might meet or where something might lead to. ;)

My transgender friend from childhood (Stephanie) who I’ve written about elsewhere, lived just down the street. We started hanging out as friends. She was a very pretty, feminine boy, and as we got to know each other she became my first girlfriend. I never really thought much about it. We both liked each other and… She was the first person I ever was truly in love with and we dated through high school.

I’ve been married twice since then. I’m not a “fan” of on-line dating services, Internet “chat,” or “webcams.” Personally I think they’re a waste of time. I’d rather just ask my new friend out for coffee. And as I’ve said before I think this forum is a terrible place to meet someone--at least it has been for me. It seems that I do much better in “real life” (maybe it’s the car…).

But I don’t know of any other forums. I would just hang in there, don’t be afraid to ask her out, and remember it’s the person you are interested in. Best of luck to you my friend! :respect:

One final thought. This is what I posted a while back under "Biggest Turn-On's"

“I like someone with intelligence, confidence, pretty eyes, nice smile, and a sense of humor. It also doesn’t hurt if they have natural breasts, legs to die for, and a fantastic ass…”

Two things (to notice)... Intelligence is #1 (on my list) and I didn't even include (if) they have a cock or not.

See ya. Gotta go workout...

Peace Out

Saturday night workout update. Tonight’s infomercial featured an “inversion table.” For low payments of only $14.99, it promised “relief of tension.” To me it looked more like something that belonged in a home dungeon. :innocent:

I eagerly awaited my own “relief” as I watched a pretty fitness model clad in tight spandex strap her ankles to the device then lean back with her arms stretched over her head like she was on a torture rack.

Sadly I felt only ”frustration” :( as the commercial quickly cut to video of grey haired middle-aged men using the device to “relive lumbar pain.” :turnoff:

I most likely won’t be purchasing this piece of fitness equipment. However it did give me an idea (actually quite a few of them…). Maybe I could get my friend Chalene to try it out with me? We could take turns. Or better still, use two of them. I'm sure we could make it work. Bet that would “relieve tension.” :inlove::inlove::inlove::inlove::inlove:

a9127 09-14-2019 08:53 PM

Took a while to find these. From some of my previous posts you probably realize that I don’t always look back on my college career all that fondly. Sure that I would have been better off had we stayed in Michigan. My high school team was awesome almost winning a state title. That was when it was still fun.

Our locker room. November 9, 2002. We played Ohio State. What a mess… One of those is mine.

A surprisingly close game, Ohio State would end up winning 10-6 eventually going on to win the National Championship. ABC broadcast the game. Because of Ohio State I’m sure--not us… :(

Most schools have “inspirational” slogans like “Play like a Champion Today” or “Strength and Honor.” This was our slogan… well duh! It also helps if your team is awesome.

“Beat Ohio State.” Now that does get one fired up as they head out onto the field. Given Ohio State’s dominance that year maybe it should have said “Just don’t get your fuckin’ ass kicked.”

But I won’t leave out the best part of college football. This IS my “Dream Girl” thread after all. My girlfriend during this time had actually been a cheerleader at Indiana University, our main rival. Six years older than me, we were married not long after this.

Looking at this picture, my only question is why is our “mascot” ugly AF? And he’s lost his helmet. Nice hair. He is supposed to be a “Boilermaker.” Why does he look instead like a cross between the “Walking Dead” and Super Dork?

(The cheerleader picture is more recent. However "Purdue Pete" still looks the same. And the team may be even worse today. Last year Purdue got slaughtered 63-14 in the "Music City Bowl" in Nashville. No wonder our students started tossing around an inflatable dick during games. :innocent:)

OK. One more then I gotta go workout. Warning: Some of these may keep you up at night. :(

From 1969. Sorry dude you're not getting any...

Creepy AF. Wonder where they store these? I won't sleep tonight. :(

From the 40's or 50's. Is that supposed to put fear into your opponent? Weird.

I've got shot glasses with this "classic" design on them. At least they are put to good use.

When "Sponge Bob" thinks he's creepy...

Ooops. Sorry. Wrong team. This is the Oakland Raiders of the NFL. Now that's how to do it! :respect:

a9127 09-15-2019 04:11 PM

This is supposed to be a "Dream Girls" thread so here you go. These are the "Goldusters." Purdue's dance team. They are nationally ranked and perform worldwide as well as at games and the Indy 500. :inlove::inlove::inlove::inlove::inlove:

(Much better than the creepy "mascot." He must be related to those "evil clowns." :( For a university that prides itself on academics and is known for its Science and Engineering programs as well as it's most famous alumni: Neil Armstrong, :respect: I'm amazed that they would have such a representative for athletics. "Purdue Pete" always looked to me like he suffered one concussion too many.)

a9127 09-16-2019 10:56 PM

After my earlier post, I figured someone was bound to discover it. So I thought I’d better go find it first. The highlights are on YouTube. Damned Internet! ESPN Classic no less. I forgot how bad it actually was. Fortunately the footage is old and grainy. Was it that long ago?

I still did not play very much as a Sophomore. On one of the videos you can catch a quick glimpse of me towards the end getting taken out of a play (Jesus… :innocent:), and on special teams. They scored on 4th and 1 to win. God, how fucking embarrassing. Too bad they didn’t burn this video. :( Ohio State would go on to win the National Championship that year. Their #71 weighed 325 lbs.

Interesting looking back 17 years later. I have never seen this footage before. Of course I had an entirely different perspective down on the field. To this day I have no regrets. Overall, playing college ball was mostly fun (other than the injuries) and it could have been worse. We know a lot more about concussions now. I was lucky although my wife who is a nurse thinks I show signs of CTE. Returning to finish my degree, I ended up getting a doctorate. I’ve had a very successful career and I credit football with teaching leadership, developing confidence, facing adversity, and instilling good work habits. I made many friendships and business connections as well. And my dedication to fitness has paid off as I progress into my 30’s. I sure as hell don’t feel old. Other than the occasional aches and pains getting out of bed sometimes. ;)

(That's why I find the "Beat Ohio State" sign over the door so funny. I actually don't even remember it. Wasn't paying attention. Your mind is elsewhere. That sign is so "matter of fact" it might as well say "watch your step".:lol::lol: I would rather see something like "Tonight we dine in hell." or "There is no tomorrow for you and that makes you very dangerous.")

a9127 09-17-2019 12:00 AM

I have however from time to time thought that one day I would make a return to collegiate athletics. I have a lot of experience. And of course ties to Purdue.

Maybe as a coach? :inlove: :innocent:

a9127 09-18-2019 04:21 PM

You knew it wouldn't take me very long to find someone I liked. :innocent: Wonder what it would be like to coach my “future wife.” Can you tell which one she is in the picture above? She looks like a “leader” to me and clearly stands out from the others. :inlove::inlove::inlove::inlove::inlove: Her name is Blake and she’s 6’2”. She’s also a Management major so I could always help her with her homework. I'm sure we've had some of the same professors.

Found out that she’s a “redshirt” Senior so that means she’s about the age of Dove Cameron. Not really THAT much younger than me…

My only regret is that she didn’t go to Purdue in the “mid-2000’s.” Would have rather dated her than my “ex.” Bet stuff would have worked out. I would think we’d have a lot in common. Except it looks like she’s doing way better than I did in football. :respect:

Got serious work to do this afternoon but those creepy “heads” have been bothering me for days. Did some research and found out they store them in the basement of Mackey Arena (basketball). Apparently Purdue “keeps” all the old heads (an unpleasant thought :(). Some early ones weigh as much as 50 lbs (23kg). Shit, a guy who’s strong enough to carry around 50 lbs supported just by his neck needs to be out on the field playing not wearing some stupid costume.

The second pic is an old “unofficial” t-shirt from the ‘80s. Purdue fans have always imagined a “rivalry” with Notre Dame where none exists (it’s with Indiana University if anybody). However in most Purdue/ND matchups it’s usually the “Boilermakers” who end up getting “fucked.”

In the meantime Purdue Women’s Volleyball  is off to a good start. Too bad they don’t get more recognition. Blake and her teammates are already 5-1. :respect: Personally I’d rather follow them. :inlove:

I think that's called stalking. ;) :lol::lol:

a9127 09-19-2019 07:37 PM

Yes. Perhaps. Of course I was only trying to show “school spirit.” :innocent: Besides right now they are our best hope for a Championship. :respect:

But it would only be “creepy” if I showed up for a date with Blake :inlove: wearing one of those “mascot heads.”:lol::lol:

(I was looking at all my memorabilia. I own next to nothing with “Purdue Pete” on it. Except for the shot glasses with the “old” Pete. And they were a gift. Most things feature the “P” logo. The only stuff I have out in my home office is my old helmet, some “Rose Bowl” items, and a “fidget spinner” on my desk. The black helmet I received from my wife for my birthday last year is in my company’s office. The helmet I received this year sits on a bookshelf at our home.

Now, for once, I will be very serious. The other Purdue “logo” you will see is the train. :respect: Why a train? There is a tragic story behind it. On Halloween, 1903, 17 members of Purdue’s football team were killed when the train they were riding to Indianapolis collided with a freight train. The site of the accident is near where Methodist Hospital is located today. A few years later, the “Memorial Gym” was built and dedicated. The train was a special “charter” carrying the team, students, and faculty. Hence the name “Boilermaker Special.”

According to what I have heard, the train, not “Pete” is actually the "official" mascot.)

This thread is about “Dream Girls” and I took it for a brief turn towards college football. Where the “dream girls” are cheerleaders, dancers, and sometimes other athletes.

Why would a healthy young man, otherwise intelligent, successful, and already dating someone very pretty, choose to play a sport where you can suffer severe injuries, concussions, and yes, even (rarely) get killed? :(

God, Andy, that’s a dumb question. (You of all people should know the answer...) :innocent:

It all begins and ends here. These are the 2018-19 Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders. Hi-Res. May have to click it twice. :inlove::inlove::inlove::inlove::inlove:

(The other reason is if you actually do make it through to the highest level – which is something less than 1% of 1% of 1% – it can pay pretty well. Russell Wilson’s base salary for 2019 is $35,000,000 USD And that's all I have to say about that... :respect:)

While working out last night they had yet another “infomercial” for “Dr. Ho’s” treatments for pain and tension. I’ve since learned he is not a “real” doctor (surprise). At least not a medical one and I don’t know where his degree was from if any.

One of the featured “treatments” got my attention pretty quickly. A very attractive model was massaging some sort of oil on her legs, especially her upper, inner, thighs. I have played sports for many years and workout regularly—I have never experienced pain there.

But I could understand how, with a partner, or, hell, even alone, it might eventually lead to “reduced tension.” :innocent:

He had this to say before the game: “Purdue’s offensive line is going to get their '3rd string' quarterback killed today.” Currently the Boilermakers are 1-4. Ohio State is 5-0. They will still beat IU. That’s like a National Championship around here.

(The last picture. I forgot, Mitch Daniels is now Purdue's President. He was Governor of Indiana and Director of the U.S. Office of Management and Budget under Bush. Jischke was President when I was there. Also I'd change the jersey to Women's Volleyball "17." :inlove: :innocent:)

I never got into "Star Wars." It was several years before my time and when interest picked up again in the late 90's I felt "too old" for it. The first time I ever saw it was in 1997. The 20th anniversary. With my girlfriend. Good make out movie... :innocent:

Although I thought Darth Vader was awesome. :respect: The best line in the movie is when Harrison Ford says "It's WORSE..." A line I've "borrowed" many times.

But Princess Leia! I had no idea. :inlove::inlove::inlove::inlove::inlove:

Better Than Purdue Pete?

Other schools’ mascots: Alabama “Big Al.” Penn State “Nittany Lion.” Duke “Blue Devil.” Michigan State “Spartan.” UCLA “Bruin.” I had a chance to play at “State.” Should have stayed in Michigan. :( See last picture. :inlove: :innocent:

Schools like Purdue have a tough time compared to schools like Alabama or Duke. Money and recruiting is a large part of it. It's big business. The only two in the “Big 10” that are even close typically are Michigan and Ohio State. My dad said it used to be known as the “Big 2 and the Little 8.” That was many years ago. Purdue has never won a National Championship in football although it produces some very good players and some exceptional Quarterbacks: Drew Brees, Bob Griese, and Len Dawson come to mind. :respect:

Alabama has 17 National Championships in football. Purdue has 0. So Pete will just have to hang in there… Sorry dude.

(UCLA, Alabama, Clemson, Duke, etc. also have cheerleading squads that rival some pro teams. The UCLA cheerleader shown is my “future wife” :inlove: and has been featured in other posts. However the NFL and NBA can get away with much more… Perhaps none is better known than the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders. The last picture is the Chicago Bulls dance team. Why do you think every guy my age wanted to “be like Mike?” :innocent:)

Ad Campaign

Part of my “academic” job includes helping “coach” our National Ad Competition Team. Along with the Chair of the Marketing Department, we assist a group of students to prepare for the annual competition. Typically it is held in a major city like New York or Los Angeles. Colleges and Universities from all over the United States participate. There are three rounds. My primary role is in helping our students with the research and data analysis (which is basically my other career as a consultant to business through my market research company). The “creativity” behind the ad I leave to them… I don’t usually go along except for the year it was held in Detroit. All students enrolled in the class must be seniors and “over 21.”

This is our entry from a couple years ago. It was part of an overall ad campaign we developed for “Snapple.” The model pictured is from “stock footage” but sometimes we go through an agency and use professional models and photographers. All are verified as “18 or older” and of course we wanted this ad to target “college age students.”

The “tagline” for this ad is “Your passion is calling. Can you feel the beat?” I feel something. I swear to God I didn’t think that up or select the model or “pose.” The students (both male and female) wanted her to wear shorts (or show a little "tummy") or a tight shiny exercise leotard. Ask me if I love my work? But that idea was nixed by the Marketing professor in charge.

Anyway, the bottom line is, we WON! Out of several hundred schools. The only “recognition” we got was that we were featured in the “Indiana Business Journal” and “Business Week.”

Hope you enjoyed the story and the ad featuring my very flexible and athletic “future wife.” :inlove::inlove::inlove::inlove::inlove:

(I’ve never even tried “Snapple” but I bet I would if she asked me to... :innocent:)

Tonight’s workout featured another infomercial from my friend Chalene. :inlove::inlove::inlove::inlove::inlove: Much better than "Dr. Ho" again. :(

Of course she was promoting PiYo. I didn’t mind taking a break and watching as she was on a lot talking about it and demonstrating the exercises herself. I know a little bit about “working out” and training for sports myself and one of the things I noticed this time is that most of the exercises in PiYo can be done at a very “easy” beginner level with assistance. Which is important so that one sticks with it. Eventually they will make it to a more advanced level and see results. Many other exercise programs assume everyone can do whatever from the start and most people give up soon after trying and failing. PiYo also avoids weights which, while great for building strength and mass for sports can be dangerous when done alone. So yes I would recommend it. :respect:

Chalene is 50 according to what I read (she was born in 1969) but looks to be in her 20’s or 30’s. I also like her positive attitude. Some guys might find it annoying. But I like it. I would definitely go out with her if ever she would want to date a "younger man." Too bad we’re both married. :innocent:

Well, I found out who she is. :inlove::inlove::inlove::inlove::inlove: Her name is MaCall and she is now a Los Angeles Rams cheerleader. It’s a good thing Purdue never played UCLA. 1) We’d probably have gotten killed. :( 2) I for sure would have ended up running into a goalpost not looking where I was going… :innocent:

Here’s what one site had to say about her:

Quote:

“A nationally ranked dancer, writer, actress and former Junior Olympic gymnast, MaCall Manor is truly a Renaissance girl. She has guest starred on TV shows (acting the young Faith Hill at the MTV Country Music Awards and little Amanda in “Ugly Betty”) and in televised commercials. She has also been honored at Carnegie Hall twice for her writing, winning a Scholastic silver medal in 2009 and a gold medal in 2010 for her novels. After watching bookstores declare bankruptcy and noticing the demise of reading among her peers, MaCall founded Moonman Reviews, a book review website that re-ignites children’s love of reading.” :respect:

Happy Halloween from “Purdue Pete”! ila had a great idea but I’m afraid if I show up for my date with Blake :inlove: wearing one of these she’ll call the cops. I would... :(

Besides, I’m already going to my company’s party as “Hades” from Descendants 3, just need a “Mal” to go with me. Maybe Blake would be into that? At 6’2” she’s a foot taller than Dove Cameron. :inlove: Either way, we’d make one “hell” of a couple. :innocent:

Another possibility is my friend Aleksandra :inlove: from Russia as a bloody cosplay “Carrie.” Her riding around on the back of my Harley looking like that would be awesome. We’d have a great time scaring the shit out of everyone.

My wife BTW wants nothing to do with any of this, so all of the above is fine with her. She just said “Go for it big guy…”

Seriously though, I am already spoken for at least for “Trick or Treating.” My two nieces, 9 and 10 are going out as characters from FNaF. Zionsville plans to have it on Saturday the 26th so the kids don’t have to worry about school the next day. You know they will fuck it up and candy will be expected on both nights. In Detroit they’d burn your house down if you didn’t deliver…

But I do like the Nike warmups they are wearing in the first picture. Must go to “Dicks” and get one (yes we really do have a store in Indiana called “Dicks”).

By the way the “Big Ten” now has 14 (or 16) teams. Nebraska and the others joined after I graduated. Penn State made 11 so they came up with the “new” logo below. That was in effect when I played. Still have stuff with that on it. I admire their creativity. See what they did? The current logo is last.

My dad would say the “Big Ten” is:

Michigan
Ohio State
Michigan State
Illinois
Wisconsin
Minnesota
Iowa
Purdue
Indiana
Northwestern

All the “others” belong somewhere else. :respect:

My nieces were watching something called “Wreck-It Ralph 2” last night. Didn’t care. Wasn’t interested. Busy with work. Thought it was dumb. Didn’t star Dove Cameron. etc.

Until...

Well, let’s just say I never thought I’d “fall in love” with a cartoon character.

This is “Shank” from the game “Slaughter Race.” She’s not only totally gorgeous but can drive too. :respect: Definitely my kind of woman.

Found out later she was voiced by and “based on” Gal Gadot. :inlove::inlove::inlove::inlove::inlove:

So actually it makes perfect sense. :innocent:

(Is it too late to find a "cosplay" Shank for Halloween? Maybe Gal Gadot?)

Well my "dates" for Halloween have been decided. I'm going Trick or Treating with my two nieces around Zionsville. No "Hades." No "Mal." No "Carrie." No Blake. No "Shank." Just me. They are still trying to decide which "Five Night's at Freddy's" characters to go as. I'm just gonna wear one of my Harley jackets, leather pants and boots. If we leave Stonegate we'll take the Ford F350. That's what I've been driving since our vacation last summer. The "ZR-1" is in case my new friend Sienna :inlove: (see the Diva's thread) wants to go out later in the week. ;)

As far as I know our night is a week from now. Zionsville was considering the Saturday before Halloween so the kids wouldn't skip school on Friday the 1st. :(

You know that candy will be expected on both nights--there's no way this will go as planned.

Also Zionsville wants to have it in the daytime. That'd never work in Detroit. :innocent:

These always crack me up. I’m sure I’m not the only guy who gets emails like this. More than likely it has something to do with the “Born Before 1985” thing. Might as well bury me now…. :(

Sadly sometimes I have to check my “junk” folder when I’m expecting an important email from a client. Otherwise I’d never see them.

Even with my new “rock hard pipe”:lol::lol: (who thinks this shit up anyway?) I’m not planning to divorce my wife anytime soon. Unless of course my new friend Sienna :inlove: (see the Divas thread) or my "golfing partner" :inlove: (see above) decides to move to Zionsville.

This is a "head cover" for a golfing putter. It's not what first came to mind.

I don't use this style of putter anyway. But I bet "Purdue Pete" doesn't use it with his golf clubs either... :innocent:

The winner of my "be my date for Halloween" contest is Aleksandra as a "bloody" cosplay Carrie. I knew that six months ago. :inlove::inlove::inlove::inlove::inlove:

She beat out some formidable competition by a wide margin. I decided based on the number of "views." :respect:

This afternoon in Zionsville I go Trick or Treating with my nieces. The weather sucks here right now, cold and rainy. :( They are going to go as Chica and Foxy from "FNaF". I'm still going as "Hades" from Descendants 3. Going to get ready. Got my hair. I'm just over 6'6" in my motorcycle boots. The rest is easy.

Now for my date with Aleksandra... This will be on the "real" Halloween. In Indiana, who knows, by then it might be in the 70's F with tornadoes. How awesome is that? I was thinking we could ride downtown to the JW Marriott on my Harley. A severe thunderstorm and lightning would be amazing. She looks great like that (I think she looks great anyway) and we'd probably scare the shit out of everybody with her riding on the back dressed like that. Of course we'd go to "High Velocity." Then we'd have all weekend to do whatever... :innocent:

Gotta go workout soon. What better way to prepare than with “Purdue Pete”?

Recently they tried out a new “prototype.” This is what was said by an actual student:

"I thought it was horrible. I was scared and he was kind of creepy."

From the inside. This is the “view” that Pete has. What has been seen cannot be unseen. :(

This “bobblehead” is sure to scare the piss out of anyone. Especially in the dark. That evil grin… Imagine if he were 7’ tall and alive. We might actually win a National Championship.

Weird. But the dude's got some serious guns. “Terminator Pete”? Hasta la Vista Baby! :respect:

This is what “new recruits” are given at “Mascot Camp.” Remind me never to go there. I’d be better off as a “30 something” linebacker. Could still stop the run. :innocent:

NOT Pete. I added her... well... just because. :inlove:

Wouldn't let her put that ugly "Purdue Pete" foam face on. She's too beautiful. Probably an Alabama fan anyway.

(Christ, I wear my old "Purdue Football" shirts when I workout. Saw this on line. Hell, just wearing that would add at least 25 lbs to your bench. :respect: Sorry Pete.)

Born before 1985? Well I guess they should just bury me now. The first picture really is me. Truth. God I hate that pic... I especially hate that they use it so much without my permission. I’ll sue!!!

And you didn’t really think I owned a 2019 Corvette ZR-1? Did you? Or lived in Zionsville? No of course not. How could I afford that on my meager wages? Was reading the "You Didn't Build That" thread from 2012. Can't argue with such learned minds and sucessful business owners.

So here’s what I really drive: Told ‘ya. It’s a 1975 Brown Ford Pinto. Even has “Wander Indiana” license plates. Circa 1984-1986. So that's proof it's mine.

And of course, since this is my “Dream Girls” thread I will include a “dream girl.” Ashley Tisdale. :inlove::inlove::inlove::inlove::inlove: Hope she doesn’t think I’m a “stan.” I'm afraid to post anything anymore. :(

She was born in 1985 so she is actually two years older than my wife. Of course she's 27 in the picture. Perfect!

Update: May have to change plans for Halloween. Forecast is for 22 degrees F and snow. Motherfucker! This is Indiana. Was hoping for a thunderstorm and lightning. May still get my wish. So Aleksandra and I will just have to think of something else to do on a cold night. :innocent:

(This may well be my last post. I'm still planning to host a Remembrance ceremony at our house in November. Of course I'll remain active in the LGBTQ community. Fuck, it's my friends we're talking about! My only gripe is with some of the members who post on this site. There are a lot of cool people too. Wish they would post more! Lest the few ruin it for all. Maybe after I'm gone it will get better. After reading a few of the older posts however, I think smc was too tolerant.)

Went out “clubbing” last night in downtown Zionsville.

And I found the guy from the “Born Before 1985” fake ads! Hate to admit but that’s me. Yeah, I was "born before 1985." I work part time as a "male model" (but I don't do "hardcore"). So for all my “fans,” a gallery:

Happy Halloween!

(It sucks here. :( Going to snow tonight as well. Err... I take that back, just looked outside, it's snowing now. So if Aleksandra actually does stop by I have a feeling we are going to have to find something to do indoors where it’s warm. :inlove::inlove::inlove::inlove::inlove: BTW my favorite picture is the second one below. But I can post a pic of Nina Dobrev :inlove::inlove::inlove::inlove::inlove: dressed as Billie for Halloween. :innocent:

OMG! “Back in 2009”? This is worse than the old man in the “born before 1985” ads. Who the fuck decided to use that picture (see below) to represent someone in their “30’s” anyway? I guess he could pass for an "older millennial." Christ. Just kill me now! :(

My 10 year old niece was born in March 2009. The 9 year old was born in May 2010.

Of course they did go trick or treating with me last week. Zionsville had it on the 26th. The weather sucked but we had a good time anyway. I went as “Hades” of course and they went as “Chica” and "Foxy” from Five Night’s at Freddie’s.

They thought I made an awesome Hades but was too young to be “Mal’s” dad. The funniest thing is that they think of Dove Cameron and Sofia Carson as “my age.” Or maybe me as “their age.” Yeah, 24… riiiight… works for me though. They also think of Dove as my “girlfriend.” Smart kids. My wife just says “You wish.” :innocent:

So since this is a “Dream Girls” thread I better include a picture. This is Dove and Sofia dressed up for Halloween as characters from the movie “Hocus Pocus.” BTW my wife who knows everything, and is a very beautiful woman herself, says that Dove, Hayley, and Taylor are my three biggest "celebrity crushes" and there is no one else who is even close. :inlove::inlove::inlove::inlove::inlove::inlove:

(The "age thing" says she "looks" 37. I would have guessed late 20's. Him? At 60? I think he looks "older." Maybe he's playing "Santa Claus"? Fuck. Billie Eilish would still be too old for me. BTW I can't post pics (yet) because she's still 17 (one more month) but if you are put off by Billie's "quirky" looks and style--hey, it seems to be working. She strikes me as a very bright young woman and you can't argue she's not talented. :respect: You need to find the picture of her in the "Varsity Jacket" with long bleached hair. If only she were 17 or 18 years older... sigh... Her "look" in that pic kinda remins me of Stephanie--my girlfriend back in high-school. :inlove:)

Fair is fair. Billie is approximately half my age. Would I date someone twice my age? Yes. But it would, like anything, depend on the person... :innocent:

This is Loni Anderson. There was an article on her this morning. She's 74. The picture on the left is from the "WKRP" era which had it's run before I was born. I would guess this picture is from 1979-80. She's probably in her early 30's. Since many of my "dream girls" are also involved in athletics or are cheerleaders :inlove:, I thought I'd give you an "update" on Ohio State. Currently they are ranked #1. Ahead of Alabama, Clemson, LSU... everybody. Well, after LSU beat Alabama, some polls have LSU as #1 and Ohio State #2.

Seventeen years ago yesterday Purdue lost a close game to Ohio State. I didn't play very much, mostly just special teams, but we lost when they went for it on 4th down and scored a touchdown.

They would go on to win a National Championship.

I still remember it. But it could have been worse. This is the result of the Ohio State/Maryland game. Yes, you read it right. Seventy Three points. :(

When nothing less than a 1985 Cadillac Cimarron will do. These often make the list of “worst cars” of all time. Had an “Inline 4” and manual transmission (in a Cadillac!). Allegedly got 42 MPG. Don’t bet on it… When we lived in Michigan, there was a retired couple who lived next door. She had one of these. Remember watching her struggling to drive it down the street. They finally got rid of it. An attempt by GM to reach down into the “economy” market of the early 80’s that failed.

(I’m sure the blonde on the left is saying to her friend “God that car makes me so hot. Just wanna go for a ride someplace and fuck the driver silly. Whaddya say we ditch these two losers?” :inlove: :innocent:)
