I've tried the Wii controler a bit, and it's better, but not as good as MKB, I played House of hte Dead 3 arcade machine just now (like just now) and I gotta say the shotguns are fucking awesome. Playing with a great big full sized pump action shotgun on a giant projection screen is totally awesome.

If shooting a virtual shotgun feels so good, how great it must be to shoot a really powerful Air-Pistol at some beer cans??? My favourite Air pistol with bullets (lead pellets). It correct range is 10 metres. :p
The real kick I get from it is the forceful recoil!! Blam! The gun weighs 2.2 pounds!
The barrel is a foot long. A real bad ass toy. :p

question

is there any adult games out there with nudity. all i know is there is the playboy mansion for playstation 2

dude there is lots for pc...virtually jenna, sexy beach, virtual eve, etc, etc. most require a hefty rafix card and membership to the site where it is downloaded from. but er since we have teh internets, google is your friend:) if you dont want to shell out the cash.

Excaliborg 08-15-2008 03:57 PM

God of War, whoo-hoo now theres a game i love. hack and slash all manner of beasties for shits and giggles while pissing off the gods of ancient greece. lovely stuff. pity its only on the ps and psp consoles though.

I wouldn't say that, if the controls are done right, the keyboard+mouse combination works very well with many kinds of games. But if the developers are lazy or just porting the game over to the PC you have to suffer with it... :censored: Assassin's Creed is a good example, it plays great on the PC too. :respect: At least Ubisoft didn't fuck this one up...

Yeah, I have Virtually Jenna, 3D Sex Villa 2 and Hentai 3D2. :turnon:  :D Too bad there aren't any shemale versions... :(

God of War looks like fun, though I think I'd get bored after a few hours.

yeah and if your one of the three people with a nasa super computer capable of running the game in your home then you should get it. pc gaming is is shit, you buy a grafix card for three hundred pound and within a year its useless. consoles aren't perfect but at least their cheap and easy. i hope they do a console version of spore, it looks good

  :D Oh yeah, that was funny, thanks for making me laugh. :)

By the way I'm not a big fan of Spore and I wouldn't call it brilliant either.

Crysis

I'm playing Crysis, is the best fucking FPS I've ever seen, it's a mix between Rambo, Predator and Gantz.

If any of you have a powerful PC, just play it and you'll forget every FPS. Best graphics ever, amazing sound (with a 5.1), nice story, great gameplay.... simply perfect.

Crysis makes me :turnon:

SweetCharmer 08-18-2008 05:40 AM

crysis is sick i was on a beach and threw someone all the way across it i love the game

GRH 08-19-2008 08:26 AM

I must admit, I have not read this whole thread. At any rate, I have a Wii, but am not an avid gamer. I like many of Nintendo's "classic" franchises to include Mario, Zelda, MarioKart, etc. I have never gotten into the many popular non-Nintendo franchises. For the time being, I am still trying to find a copy of Wii Fit to play.

WoW...

I've been playing World of Warcraft since the day it was release...all 3 years ago or something. I've finally be able to quit at least i hope so. 3rd time is a charm but now i've just bought a year membership of xbox live for my 360. I've been playing halo 3 and NHL 08. Soon to play NHL 09!! I'm big into hockey and I actually play it in real life been a goalie now for 2 years.

I guess as a gamer, I'd seem like a jackass if I didn't put in my two cents (these are all my opinion, mind you... I don't wanna piss anyone off)

Halo 3 was a disappointment (multiplayer was the only good thing, cause the campaign sucked)
Starcraft... CLASSIC... I'll bust a nut when I buy and install Starcraft 2
Diablo (1 and 2)... Also a classic (Diablo 3 releases in about a year I think)
WoW... Don't even get me started, because I HATE that game.
City of Villians was decent
I love the Guitar Hero games, Rock Band isn't bad
GTA4 is awesome....

But my favorite of all time is.... METAL GEAR SOLID 4: GUNS OF THE PATRIOTS!! BEST. GAME. EVER.

Emmmmm..... you must play Ocarina Of Time and/or Crysis. MGS4 was a big dissapoint for me, I expected much more from Kojima than just a movie and a few minutes of gaming.

Indestructable2K4 08-24-2008 12:38 AM

I'm totally with you on the insanely long cutscenes/codec convos. I've played Ocarina of Time and finished it MULTIPLE times... Even learned how to play Iron Man on the ocarina :). My laptop isn't badass enough to power Crysis... Hell, I can't even play The Sims on mine!

I'm not a fan of either of those games, Diablo one got boring pretty quickly for me (haven't tried the second yet though) and I'm a fan of the Age of Empires when it comes to RTS games but I have to agree, SC is not too bad. :)

I hope so too. :) I'm not sure about the main character but I'll see if he turns out to be okay in November.

360/PC + Wii

Not bad, but in my opinion the winner combination is a 360 (or a powerful PC) and a Wii. With the 360/PC you have all the shooters, racing games, adventures and all that, with great graphics.

And with Wii you have the Nintendo franchises (Zelda, Mario, Metroid....) with a great and different controller. And of course the best multiplayer games. Anyone knows what's a true and fun multiplayer until they've played Wario Ware Smooth Moves.

PS3 was a big dissapointment in my opinion. It's not as powerful as they said and the games sucks. I think the only original games for PS3 are Echochrome and Little Big Planet, the rest of the catalogue is avaliable for 360 or PC with (even) better graphics.

Niko (the main character in GTA4) turned out to be a better character than Tommy (from GTA3 and Vice City) or that other guy (San Andreas). Rockstar managed to wrap a pretty good story up in this game... I didn't think I was going to like it at all, because I was extremely disappointed with the past titles. As soon as I sat down with it, I was hooked!

Tommy Vercetti appeared only in Vice City, the dude from GTA 3 was called Claude Speed (he also appeared in San Andreas as a racer). San Andreas guy was CJ, Carl Johnson, and her ex-girlfriend went with Claude from GTA3.

Man, it seems Dallas with all that crossed characters and love stories.... :p

Indestructable2K4 08-24-2008 03:12 PM

I wasn't disappointed at all with them. I loved Vice City and San Andreas, GTA3 wasn't bad either but the two other are a lot better. I'm sure R* wrote a great story again for the main character but I'm not so sure about Niko himself. Crysis beats GTA (and Bioshock, and Halo, and The Darkness, and EVERY shooter/action game you've seen). But you need a PC to play it, not a burnt 360 or a useless PS3.

No, seriously, if you have a powerful (REALLY powerful) PC you should try it, it's just awesome, in my opinion the best game of the decade (the 90's were for Ocarina Of Time)

Hey there,

I've heard a lot of good things about Crysis; I did like Far Cry, which was the first to use the new Crysis 3-d engine, so I do wanna give it a blast. I'm a first person shooter man myself - in more ways than one ;) - but I've gotta ask, is it better than Half Life 2 or System Shock 2?

nmlss 09-19-2008 09:24 PM

Crysis for all!!! (except console users)

Dude, it's better than every FPS/TPS you've ever played. Now I'm also playing Gears Of War, and I think it's a great game, but nothing compared with the amazing Crysis.

I haven't played yet HL2 (damn, I need to buy it NOW!!), but I've played the first one and it was great. A true revolution in his time.

Crysis is a mix between Predator (for the camouflage), Gantz (for the suits), Rambo (for the TOTAL destruction of every fucking thing in the levels) and.... and a bit of.... uh... something I can't explain very well.

I have the game downloaded, but I'm really gonna buy it, this games deserves it.

SweetCharmer 09-20-2008 09:27 AM

even though its quite short army of two is pretty good the gameplay could be a little better but on the whole its a good game

gangbangingGER 09-20-2008 11:36 AM

As far as HL2 goes, I won't say anything apart from the fact that you simply have to play it! I loved the first one but HL2 is just gold, absolute gold.

racquel 12-02-2008 06:54 PM

I played Diablo 2 HC for a few years. I could never really get into WoW because you can just die over and over and it doesn't matter.

I usually find a game I really like and play it incessantly. I got all gold on all the licenses and won Gran Turismo 2,3,4. I won Guitar Hero 1,2,3 on Expert. I played Alpha Centauri, Master of Orion 2, and Civ 2,3,4, until I'd won each of them a million times on the hardest settings. I won all the Red Alerts multiple times. But I haven't played many other games.

I know those are old games, but I'm 31! I was playing Ultima 4 all of 4th grade! I won Zork 1,2,3 when I was 8 years old!

St. Araqiel 12-02-2008 11:11 PM

The types of games I play are RPG, Action/Adventure, Fighting, Puzzle/Stradegy, among several others.

Indeed, I love it too. I wasn't a fan of the first one, (far from it, I found it boring and dumb) but this one is great. I've spent at least 30-35 hours with it already and I'm still only at about 60%, I think. It could be better though and I hope the sequel will correct the mistakes and include a bit more to do. :) I'd rate it around 9/10. :respect:

Fallout 3 is awesome too, though it's too similar to Bethesda's previous game, that's why I think it's like "Oblivion with guns". Not a very bad thing, that game was great as well but I expected a bit more, and something different. Anyway, I enjoy it a lot, it deserves a 9/10 too. :respect:

plymouth 01-07-2009 07:24 PM

Left 4 dead is sik as fuck! my fav is need for speed games and silent hill games!

Big_Willie 01-26-2009 11:47 AM

Mirror's Edge is great too, I love it. There are only two problems, first is that it's too short, I wanted to play more, and the second is that you can't just go anywhere after the game's finished or there isn't a free-roaming mode (or something like that). Time trials are cool but that would've been better.
The graphics are beautiful and it doesn't require a beefy PC to run it well, the music is cool, the movement/moves are amazing and I loved the cut-scenes too. The only weakpoint of the gameplay were the fight scenes but other than that it's a very good game. 9/10 for sure. :respect: Let's hope there will be a sequel.

Lac79 02-04-2009 07:25 AM

I love video games. After a rough day nothing blows off steam better than a fps.
I'm playing Fallout 3 for the 100th time and Bioshock as well. I am eagerly awaiting Bioshock 2 . I'm an rpg and fps fan and my console of choice is my X-Box 360 , i also have a wii and ps2 and many older systems sit in my gaming graveyard. :)

I have an NES emulator on my computer. I like playing Super Metroid, Bust A Move and Bomberman. :)

There is nothing wrong with old games!;) I still enjoy playing them from time to time(either playing the C64 versions via Emulator, using a slow-down program to play old PC games, or just playing them on my PC and hoping they still work). I am currently playing Pool Of Radiance II: Ruins of Myth Drannor.

I do have a story about Ultima IV(of which I am having a serious jonesing for, but I don't have a C64 copy on my current computer:(), though.

I played Ultima IV after school whenever I could on my rickety old C64. It was one of the best games I had ever played, but I got stuck at the end of it. I could not figure out what word I was supposed to type in at the end of the game(it turns out it was 'Infinity').

Until I could figure out what the word was, I was stuck! I lent the game to a friend with one request. That he make a copy of the game(I know, bad me, but I was a young kid at the time!) so it doesn't overwrite my game. Time passes and I finally get it back from him. I put the floppy in the drive(I knew what the proper word to use was at that time) and loaded up the game! And do you know what I saw? You guessed it! A new character at the beginning of the game!:no::no:

I was just a tad pissed off about that.:censored:

I personally love my 360 , however now that the PS3 has lowered their price it does make it a tempting purchase. Plus it has a built in blu-ray player and some good games available and more coming soon.

Wasn't it insane when the PS3 first came out? People were able to get almost $2000 selling theirs online due to their being a lack of supply for the overwhelming Christmas demand(which I think they did on purpose)!

A few posts above you mentioned Bioshock. I agree with you 100%! That game kicks ass! I played it through two times in a row(something I had never done before with a video game) to get both of the endings.

Bioshock 2 looks like it will be a sweet game too!

I haven't played Fallout 3 yet(but I bought the Collector's Edition when it came out. It's a lunch pail! How cool is that?), but I recently played(and completed) Fallout, Fallout 2, and Fallout: Tactics. I'll give Fallout 3 a shot when I get a computer upgrade(as I don't think my 3800+ Dual Core will cut the mustard).

rockabilly 10-26-2009 11:54 AM

And don't forget the Vault Boy bobble-head too. They just released Fallout 3 game of the year edition w/ all the expansion dlc included!

Fallout 3 is awesome and i can't wait for the next one to come out. Bioshock just had so much depth (pun not intended) and polish , it was a great experience. From the characters and dialogue to the enviroments and plasmid abilities it was an amazing game. Bioshock 2 comes out in Feb. 2010 and looks to expand the backstory of Rapture.

Hi there.

Got a few pc's.

Played Morrowind, never finished it, going to during the winter.

Played Oblivion, finished it, but the end is anti-climactic...

And used the TES Tool kit to make some great armour and wepons for Morrowind and oblivion.

Played Red Alert(1), LOVED the skirmish mode, usually played against 3 enemys and only lost when 2 or more came for me in the begining otherwise i'd win GUARANTEED, also after a while i made some changes and made Tanya realy dangerous, (2 shots to kill mamoth tank) and self healing + aa rockets, 5 of her and you were UNBEATABLE.

Liked RA2 but not as much, but the end cinematics of the Yuri expansion Lt. Eve looked stupendous (Athena Massey).

Played NWN 1 finished all including both expansions, Made some killer armours and weapons for my chars.

NWN 2, 2 not yet finished, got 3/4 expansions, gonna get the fourth soon.

Diablo 1 was fun but too symplistic.

Diablo 2 was more fun and more interesting, with all the enhancements of patch 1.12 if i remember corectly.

Starcraft & Brood, great too.

One RTS i realy like and still play is Earth 2150 & the 2 stand alone expansions, very nice and complex, but with all the researches and options it takes a long time to complete a skirmish, but the problem is that all AI players are allied against you.

Another not so well known RTS i realy liked was Metal Fatigue, it had 3 factions and you had 3 layers of play, surface, underground and small orbital islands, the thing i liked most was the combots, you had tanks, missile cars and artillery, but the combots were gigantic robots that fought with ranged weapons and/or axes, swords etc, and when you fought HTH you could amputate enemy combot arms with the swords and axes, but not the blunt weapons, and when the combots were destroyed some parts sometimes not destroyed and left on the battlefield, and you coud pick them up research them use them and reproduce them even if they weren't your faction's parts, to build a combot you needed; a pair of legs, a torso, and 2 arms, and 2 factions had jetpack torsos and the other had jet legs that allowed the huge robots to fly, a really cool game.

Another not so well known shooter game i like is Bionicle Heroes (LEGO), the "Bionicle" not heroes game is really lame so do not confuse the two, Bionicle Heroes you start on a small island with a store where you can U/G your 6 heroes, weapons, armour and special abilities and you have 6 areas to clean out with 4 sub-areas with a bosse at the 4th, when all 6 are completed you have the last boss to eliminate, his spider is not too bad but once you killed it he is "freed" and he is very powerful and fast, but it is a very nice game, after you have killed the last boss you get the mask of life and you can and should redo all the previous areas to get all the bonuses.

LOL! Yeah, I forgot about the bobble-head.:D

I really enjoy the Collector's Editions that give you good extras rather than just a cheap little bonus. Besides the Fallout 3 CE, Icewind Dale 2, Baldur's Gate 2, and Pool Of Radiance 2: Ruins Of Myth Drannor had really good Collector's Editions as well. A favourite extra of mine is the Soundtrack CD. I should also mention that I bought the CE version of Bioshock which came with a CD with a couple of Moby remixes on it as well as a huge honkin' Big Daddy figurine! Awesome!

Bioshock had amazing depth. There were times when I was so immersed in the game that I actually felt like I was there. Even though I couldn't play the game with the maximum effects the visuals were astounding! I remember the first time walking through the flooded store and seeing the "wax" figurines. That game has better "fright" moments than a lot of the horror movies that are out any more. And how about that twist, eh Rockabilly? I won't mention it here as I don't want to spoil it for anyone who hasn't played this game yet.

It also looks like Bioshock 2 will have Multiplayer! I have never played any Multiplayer games before(besides the odd LAN game) but that may change with this game! Will you be trying the Multiplayer aspect of this game(if it ships in a stable/playable mode)?

Hi there.

A freind lent me Fallout 1 & 2, boy was i NOT impressed, they were LAME, NWN 1 was way better, so were most games, is Fallout 3 the same thing rehashed like many game sequels are?

Has anyone played Demon Souls yet?

I saw it reviewed on G4 and kind of want to get it since my local Hollywood Video doesn't have it.

I like RPG's, but when they're bad... they're usually really bad. After playing the good ones (Diablo, Oblivion, KNOTR, Baldur's Gate), I usually don't like getting them unless I've played it before. Anyone familiar with Atlus? I don't think I've ever played any games by them.

I don't care about the difficulty as long as the gameplay itself is decent. Any points good or bad would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Shadows i loved the twist in Bioshock. If you found all the audio diaries and really pay attention to them it kinda foreshadowed everything that happens ... in particular listen to Jasmine Jolie's journal when you find her body.
John Doe if you liked Oblivion then you will love Fallout 3 as they were made by the same team , and Fallout 3 is pretty simply Oblivion w/ guns ... but it's so much more too.
On to Bioshock 2's multiplayer ... it's the reason the game was delayed. I prefer single player mode.

I wonder how many differences(besides the Achievements) there are between the PC version and the console versions. Did you play it on the PC or on a console?

(besides my PC all I own console-wise are a Gamecube and a PS1. I don't even play either of those.)

rockabilly 10-27-2009 06:35 PM

I'm a console only gamer. Gaming on a pc can get very expensive quickly.

Well, I agree with you somewhat. If you purchase a half-decent rig you will still be able to play the majority of games with all the bells and whistles and the computer game is cheaper to purchase(on average) than the exact same game on a console.

Of course, both consoles and computers always seem to be on a never-ending cycle. You purchase the "new" machine and it rocks! Then in only a few short years you have to fork out more money on a new system because the old one isn't good enough any more. If all console systems were backwards compatible so that all the games from the older systems were playable on the new one(because a classis is a classic after all;)) then I would be more apt to purchase a console system.

Nothing wrong with consoles, though. I am not one of those computer owners that look down upon console users.:D I just wish that the ports of games originally from consoles wouldn't suck so bad sometimes. I pay hard-earned money just like a console gamer, so why should I get an inferior product?:(

rockabilly 10-27-2009 07:06 PM

The 360 is backwards compatible w/ alot of old X-Box games , and the Wii can play your Gamecube games. One of the launch model PS3's was b.c. w/ ps1 and ps2 games ... it had a bigger harddrive and extra usb ports and had silver detailing but Sony removed the chip from all the following PS3 models. I have just always favored consoles as my gaming platform.
