:D The 80's had alot of crappy music, but alot of good stuff too!
And MTV went from basic, laughable videos in 1980 to gorgeous works of video-art by decades end. Ska..The Specials were cool, but does anyone remember "The Selector" ?? Funboy 3 makes me think of "Gang of 4"..., "Bananarama" makes me think of "The TomTom Club"..! Other 80's music....The English Beat("Save it for later", "Mirror in the bathroom"), The Clash ("Rock the Casbah"), Joy Division, Siouxsie & the Banshees, The Police, Depeche Mode("never let me down"..), Kate Bush, The Church("Under the Milky Way"), Peter Gabriel ("Sledgehammer",, Tears for Fears(Everybody wants to rule the world"), The Judys, Talking Heads ("Burning down the house"), U-2, Sade, Motorhead, Love and Rockets/The Bubblemen, B-52's ("Rock Lobster")...
