Default are there TS girls that actually really like going top?

i know theres a LOT of porno suggesting this, but i'd just like to hear some opinions, i mean i would have thought they would rather go sub usually.

when i say this i mean full tops, as in preferring it to sub, not just going top on occasion

What possible reason would you have to doubt that people have all sorts of preferences when it comes to sex?

If there are men that prefer to bottom, why not transwomen that prefer to top?

As with many things, this can be complicated. For me, part of my trans-related body issues involves how I use my body sexually. I'm not only not fond of topping, I literally can't even if I'm turned on with an erection. The act itself is so disturbing to me that I lose all interest and have a very strong emotional reaction.

That said, some gals absolutely love having all of their bodies used in many different ways sexually. Some gals prefer to top, some are happy being switch. Some are willing to do what their partner wants because they enjoy giving pleasure.

Where it becomes complicated for Trans women, is in seeking assistance with trans-related care. There are many people who will withhold treatment if they suspect a trans woman enjoys her penis sexually. This was pretty standard through the 90's.

Ts topping in films & escorting:
viagra & $$$
Most pre op ts who are on hormones for any significant time
[unless they cycle the hormones]
usually have reduced or no erections.
Viagra goes a long way to sorting out the physical.

Most ts are at best indifferent to their penis at worst loath them,
but coin acts as a big motivator.

I dont top men & on the rare occasions I penetrate a woman,
day-one female, or ts history female...
it really messes with my head.
Also, it usually really is quite painful.
I still get very hard despite chemical castration [zoladex implants]
& highish long term estrogen doses
but the outer skin has shrunk more than the internal bits
so penetrating anything with my penis, basically just hurts.
Not nice & usually not erotic for me.

Same story for a lot of my ts friends.

That sounds very wrong to me. Why should a transsexual woman not enjoy her penis sexually and why shouldn't she be allowed to pleasure others with it?

Naturally, I would prefer a girl to top me!

This might be simplifying the issue - I'm sure I'll be put straight if I'm getting this wrong but I think the problem was that if you were a TS seeking hormone treatment and eventually SRS, you had to convince doctors that you really 'knew' that you were female (that's not putting it very well but I hope you can see what I mean). So if they suspected that you didn't regard your penis with horror and, even worse, might enjoy using it now and again they considered that you were merely some kind of fetishist and would refuse treatment. I say was but this may well still be the case...

That was very much the case at NHS National Health Service GIC's Gender Identity Clinics.
They are totally different now.
When I first went I was self medding, private counseling, & intending to pay for my surgeries. Not get them paid for by the NHS.
I also said I was having an orchiectomy not a vag
coz
1. It pees just fine
2. tucks up out the way the rest of the time so you would never know
3. gives great orgasms

Deep breath from the psych
then he said it was cool and that GIC's position had radically changed
in that now they see ts persons asa a wide spectrum rather than a narrow confined definition.

These days GIC's look to help the client find what is best for them
and enjoying orgasms from your willy is not a no go area
but they will push you on how you will handle post op
[be that an orchi or full SRS]
if the end result is a loss of sexual function.

It's where a person stands on body self identity, that is the big issue for GIC's
and should also be for the ts as well.

^I wonder if our members in the UK realize what an advance it is just to have a national health system that includes "Gender Identity Clinics" -- even if they are not always focused in the best way. In the United States, one is truly lucky to have healthcare coverage that includes just about anything.

How wonderful the world would be if someone needing counseling, or physician assistance, for a "gender identity" issue could get it as a basic human right, without having to worry about the cost on top of all the other things that would occupy the mind at a time like that, anywhere in the world!

Totally agree.
The NHS is supposed to be a safety net, for all.
But it get milked all over,
including gender clinics.
I've a friend who is at one of the clinics
Trying to talk the GIC into financing a boob job.
She has an income of ?80,000 = $120,000 per year.
Yet she is still trying to milk the system for a free set of tits.....

But if its important enough to you,
You will find a way to pay for it.
I only used the NHS shrinks, as they will say you are deluded, & should be locked up.... if thats the case....coz they get paid regardless.
And I'd rather know if I've Ts stuff going on, or alternatively have a mental disorder.
Private shrinks, I don't fully trust as its in their financial interest for you to keep going.

Its all down to priorities.

I financed trans stuff almost totally by myself. {whoring}
[You do whatever you need to do]
I made the decision to sacrifice other things in life.

Face & body hair removal, hormones, surgeries....probably the equivalent of maybe ?30.000 [$45,000]
Thats a big deposit for a home or a top of the range Porsche.
I live in rented & drive a 7 yr old fiat punto.
I'm far from poor, but could have milked the NHS system to pay instead.
This is too important.

It's called pride & showing yourself how committed you really are.

[This stuff really only applies to uk trans,
but to trans the world over, if you want it enough, you will find a way]

Default well

well respect to you for doing it that way, although it would be great if the nhs provided such services for free, i would rather that money was put towards cancer research/drugs etc, i'm not belittling the struggle you lot all go through on a day to day basis though.

i know you get loads of porno and escorts who go top, but as some of you said, it does seem to go against the way these girls feel about themselves, although yeah what is weird to one person is just kinky to another

whatever floats ya boat!

The beauty of it is ... there's plenty of money for both. It's just that it's spent the wrong way, like on aircraft carriers, and tax cuts to multinational corporations, and so on, and so on, and so on ...

Umm very lucky people in a post code lottery have a chance of some useful support. If your serious about transition, i mean do not want to watch a waiting listhen of years tick by... t you have to look to go private though, its as simple as that!

^ Of course, it is very, very, very, very far from perfect. My point was about the "enlightenment" (for want of a better word) that comes with having a healthcare system that at least recognizes gender identity as something worth, well, recognizing.
