Am I bisexual?
Im not attracted to guys at all, never have been.
Im totally into women and only feminine shemales/ts, mostly asian. I feel confused if that makes me bisexual because they have a penis or am i just heterosexual? |

Incomplete
Quote:
At the end of the day the most important thing is to realise that you are a living sexual being. After all, if the truth be known, a significant number of men have a very low sex drive, which is hard for many of us possessors of medium to high sex drives to understand. Perhaps our preoccupation with M2f Transexuals is because we feel our sexual-awareness centred round ff women and gg girls is incompletely a satisfied. We all carry within us a sexual spectrum, a blend of feminine and masculine. That makes us sexual, but not necessarily homosexual or bisexual. Some of us also exercise choice over our practising sexual life-style. For example, I practise an exclusively Heterosexual lifestyle, but it doesn't prevent me from admiring and indeed savouring the beauty of other quite different flowers of the field '. I acknowledge that to some this may seem to be an aberration, but to me it seems quite normal. Dreams and Fantasy are free, and, if they cause no hurt or harm to another, they should attract no feelings of regret. So go for it and indulge yourself to the full, TC, in the fellowship of this forum.

I really appreciate this answer instead of just telling me to "search the site". I am new here and confused about myself sometimes. I came here for discussion and understanding not to be told to "search". Very much appreicated! |

The reason some of the older members of this site suggest you do a search is mainly because these questions have been discussed a great deal on here before and there's no point in creating tons of threads that all deal with the same subject. Just about everybody who turns up here has asked themselves the exact same thing at some point so you're not alone.
The thread that might help you most is this one: http://forum.transladyboy.com/showthread.php?t=3835 But the general gist is - you are what you believe yourself to be, everything else is just labelling Oh, and don't feel guilty about what you're attracted to. |

If i have a question I dont see the problem in asking it in a new thread. If we just did searches on past material we would miss out on new conversation with new members who might want updated opinions not old opinions.

Personally, I've no problem with you asking as many questions - and opening as many threads - as you like. Just don't be surprised if somebody drops by to point out there's already a 15-page thread where the fat has been chewed at length on the same subject - or one of our ever-smiling mods decides to merge the whole lot together anyway.

I think you are either or both Heterosexual/bisexual. Your attraction to TS does not make you "gay", but lets be honest it's a girl with male genetalia instead of female.
Most if not all guys I have questioned are into ladyboys, which makes me temporarily conclude that most men are indeed hetero but are also attracted to what they intimately & comfortably know the most. So, Your attraction IS normal. Last edited by Smoothie; 12-26-2012 at 05:33 AM. |

I don't really get hung on labels. Only you can truly define who you are.

In my case the first is about 9, if 0 is same-gender attraction and 10 is opposite, and the second about 7, if 0 is cis-gender and 10 is transgender. My preference is for pre or non-op, highly feminine transwomen who adopt a female sexual role. Being attracted to transpeople stops being confusing as soon as you give it the respect it deserves. Simples. BTW, the term 'shemales' is pretty demeaning. "Transgender', 'transsexual' or 'transwomen' (assuming we're talking about girls) will get you more respect and trust. |

Thank you for your post and info! I appreciate the correction on "shemale" as this is a new thing for me and I had no idea about demeaning anyone by that term. This attraction has always been there somewhat but its really just blown up the last 6 months for me! |

You are not bi-sexual
You stated males don't turn you on. Its the allure of the feminine body. some girls were born as boys and they chose to live as girls. They are still women and not boys in women's clothes.
I am a shemale, I can't stand women for sex is a gay thing for me

In the true sense of the word you're bisexual. It's nothing to be ashamed of but many men get hung up about it. Don't, just enjoy the fact that you love TGirls.

You are unique as all human beings are- cherish that singularity and don't let anyone else define you- seek their advice and wisdom but in the end it is you and your inner self that knows you, personally, the best- good luck in all your endeavors...

labels... what for?
Hi Tim... hope you're still with us! As other members have mentioned, there's been lots of research/study about bisexuality and at least 2 of 'em have pointed out that it was easier for women to acknowledge (and live with) being sexually attracted to both genders. Apparently, guys feel bothered when they discover they have such an attraction and won't tell a soul about it, especially not their wife or gf... Therefore i believe that, at least for some guys, forums of discussion (like this one) can turn out to be a helpful place; hearing from people who may be going through things similar to their own situation; chattin' about human feelings which may be difficult to express without the use of familiar words...
Our friend Tim, among many other OPs, was only seeking advice - oh and perhaps a little warmth - when he opened this thread. I wonder if we could just use some labels as a sort of "vehicle" to make the connection with new members easier?? Sometimes i can feel the confusion while reading their posts... I see an often-inadequate choice of words that betrays their haste to understand what's happening to them; i suppose it can be pretty unsettling when one's sexual desires begin to drift into uncharted territory, especially if one feels uncomfortable just fantasizing about it Sure if i were this other type of guy, you know, replete with self-confidence and in absolute control of his sex life, i might be tempted to tell you to ?do a search? or to ?fuck the damn labels?, but i won't... Why? Simply because i've also been through times of deep confusion a decade ago and when i tried to seek for help, nobody "had time to spend" with someone they saw as a sort of deranged, borderline pederastic boy-lover So even if we're not in the same situation Tim, i'll try to offer a reply to your first post: You may fall into the ?latent bisexual? category; what this means is an attraction to male genitalia was like "hidden" in your mind and this recent sight of gorgeous women with throbbing penises acted as a type of vector which "awoke" said attraction in a very unexpected way, as you were totally unaware you had this, in a "dormant state", deep inside you... Conclusion: look Tim, if the idea that you are perhaps bisexual kinda puts you off, simply think of it like you're going through an unforeseen-but-very-pleasant initiation that will last as long as all these gorgeous transwomen out there will turn you on ______ Dennis. But to clear the air: No, you're most likely not bisexual. You're "trans-oriented". That's a sexual orientation in its own right. And, as I have argued numerous times before, even her penis (if she still has it) becomes an attribute of her femininity. So please, follow the good advice and research the matter by reading what has already been written. Peace Hank

I understand everyone can have their own definitions, but for me Hetero guys are attracted Women, gays are attracted to men and bi's are into both. I am Hetero, and attracted to women. A ciswoman is no more naturally and completely a woman than a transwoman. They are both women.

"Imperfect Bisexual" or "Partially Bisexual" are much better terms: a real bisexual is attracted from both males bodies and female bodies - but you like only dicks and not the male bodies, so "Imperfect Bisexual" or "Partially Bisexual" are the perfect terms to describe your actual sexual orientation. |

My two cents is that labels are for clothes not for people! Sexual orientation is more clear when someone is cisgender but I wouldnt get hung up on labels. Just like who you like and if you like tg thats cool.
I know my ex considered himself straight and liked me for being feminine and didnt like guys at all. Some will say straight, bi, others are queer or dont label themselves. Just do what feels right. |

Liking shemales does not automatically make a man bisexual.
I asked myself this question quite a while ago. To try to answer this I tried viewing gay porn but found it failed to stimulate me at all. Liking shemales means I'm attracted to women and if they have a cock all the better. |
