going to thailand

hello, it's dude again.

so lately i've been really thinking. i've been thinking a lot about taking a trip.

i've been watching videos of the streets of pattaya and the streets of bankok and it just makes me want to go even more.

i've made up my mind, i want to go to thailand.

however, it won't be a while until i actually do go. we all have lives, and i can't just get up and leave one day. so i plan to do this when i graduate from school. i'm still a freshmen in college so i have 3 long years to go. hell, maybe more.

but until then, i want to work on everything so this trip could be the best it can be. first of all, i'm going to work on my phsyical image. i've been execising and dieting and i plan to look good for this trip, so that the beutiful ladies i will be with will enjoy my company as much as i enjoy theirs.

second, i would like to learn atleast a litle bit about the culture, general mind states and whatever else. you know, what to do and what not to do, especially with these beutiful ladyboy creatures. maybe some history. i mean it's quite ignorant going to a country and knowing nothing about it. and also maybe some basic words, and basic sentances.

third, prices, std's, and safety. i'm a sucker when it comes to social interaction. i have a hard time saying no. i feel like a cheap ass when i say no. i feel like i'm doing the wrong thing. i need to learn how to be a man about shit and stand up for myself and look tough and make sure everyone knows not to mess with me, while at the same time carrying an inviting, warm image. i need to learn the general price ranges for things (one in particular if you know what i mean) like taxis, hotels, bars, etc etc.

i know theres a few people here who have expirience, i would love to hear from you if you could post here.
i'm in no hurry, obviously i have 3 years probably more until i actually do go, but maybe some of you have been wanting to go as well? i know for a fact i probably will go alone, since i don't know anyone else that likes ladyboys haha so if someone wants to talk about going with me i would be open to that idea as well. or maybe i could meet someone that already lives there and you could show me the ropes.

i don't know, it's all just speculation for now. but i do intent on going, that's for sure.

perhaps you can post your expiriences here, your knowledge about thailand in general, and good places to visit, bars, natural areas, or anything! i would especially like to hear someone comment on safety. i'm really worried about that since i'll probably be alone.
