This sounds like what I have heard referred to as the "dorsal" cut as well. I have seen several of the Asian girls that have this style circ.

I can't understand why does anybody call it "German" circumcision. It might be the way the therapeutic operation was practiced years ago in Germany. But today you'll rather find out, the Germans who are circumcised (on their own or parents' wish) are made the full way, really tight and with a scar line directly behind the glans. The dorsal circumcision is popular in Philippines, but not in Germany.

I didn't realise there were such much less "aggressive" types of circumcision. I had all my foreskin removed it seems, with no skin movement, done in the USA.
