I'm as ts escort...I have a number of ts friends
But,
Some Ts escort most don't.
The % I know who escort is slanted anyway, as we are in the same industry.

If I worked in an office, most of the people I knew
would likely also work in an office.

Also to escort successfully, you have to have the looks, temperament, and business sense.

yes, I was wondering if other transsexuals would agree with Yasmin on the percentage escorting. Her estimate seems very high to me. Although, the internet trannyporn industry seems to employ many thousands. Do we know the actual percentage of transsexuals in the population?

To me it seems like that the percentage of TS and TG sex-workers varies a lot in different countries.

There can be many reasons, like unemployment rates, public view on sex-work etc. but in countries where the public health care is of high quality and available to everyone regardless of income; TS and TG sex-workers are rare.
On the other hand, as the world looks today, sex-work might be the only way to afford the operation in many countries.
