At last I am beginning to have better luck with the “Hades” costume. The hair pictured is much better than what I had found earlier. I’ve got everything else I need already. Boots, jacket, leather pants, fingerless gloves… We will just have to assume that this Hades rides a Harley because they all have “Harley-Davidson” logos on them.
 Now I just need to find a “Mal” to be my date. The one in the picture looks good to me. Except I’m not old enough to be her dad…  Wonder what she’s doing for Halloween?

Glad you like them. Got to watch D2 and D3 last night. So I am still under Mal's "spell" as I try to get some work done today.
This is my favorite “look” for Mal. For what it’s worth, my own wife thinks Dove is the most beautiful of all my “celeb crushes.” Mal and Evie, her BFF, (Sofia Carson ). Sofia should—and does—get recognition for her beauty and talent as well. Future star for sure. “Game On!” This is from the scene where they go to rescue “King Ben” in Descendants 2. One of my favorite pictures of Dove from Descendants 3. Mere words can not adequately express my feelings.  The “Hades” costume is coming along nicely now that I’ve got the “hair thing” taken care of. Of course as you know by now I am not old enough to be Mal’s dad! Still think it’s an awesome idea for Halloween. Especially since my version of Hades will be riding a Harley. Just need to find someone to play “Mal.” Wonder who I have in mind?

Found this beauty on Pinterest just a few minutes ago. Her name is Sienna Miller. My day suddenly got better.
I have heard of her. Why am I not familiar with her? Discovered we are about the same age--she's not quite a year older than me. In love with an older woman?  Research is required. I looked her up and among other things she has done "Carmen." Need to do more research into this "Carmen." I've posted other pics from various productions of it. Seems very sexy. I always thought it was about "bullfighters." Our 6th grade music teacher had us sing "Toreador."  Keep the "Divas" coming! (Of course you would expect that from a guy who listened almost exclusively to "nu-metal" from about ages 12 to 30. )

Silly post. There are a lot of "compare your height to your favorite celebrity" sites out there. This one shows "truer" proportions plus it lets you add "2 inch heels"
which is about what my motorcycle boots have. Of course I'm sure with each of them, for our date, we'd be on my Harley... But not today. It's 9 degrees F here with a strong wind. Dove Cameron wasn't in the database. They need to fix that. But she's about 5'2" tall. Hayley and Taylor are the only two I've seen in real life but it was at their concerts. Hard to judge. Especially Taylor. She had like 7" or greater heels on. She appears to be taller than any of her dancers. Have friends that met Miley. They swear she is a lot taller than 5'4". She appears to be taller in pictures. Maybe she was 5'4" whan she was on "Hannah Montana"?

Another long “WebEx” meeting this afternoon. Shit. Some “professional” advice… if you have to host a meeting or make a presentation, keep it under 15 minutes. 30 at the most. I always keep my “interactions” short and to the point. If it’s just a quick “check in,” FaceTime is great. My students all have iPhones anyway so they love it. And you can host a group as well. Also, always dress appropriately. You don’t have to wear a tie but know your audience. And yes, wear pants. By now you have probably have seen that “news guy” who was caught on national TV broadcasting from his home…
I find that I tend to “drop out” in long meetings. Especially online ones. So my mind turns to other things. Usually involving women. And with the computer right in front of you, it’s very tempting. So today, during the meeting I was thinking about Dove Cameron (surprise!) and was wondering what she was up to. There’s hardly anything of her that I haven’t posted in already in this thread. But here is something new: Remember that man who “married” an Anime character? It looks like someone has drawn an “Anime Mal.” Cute. But personally, I’d rather marry the one on the left. A beautiful drawing of Mal from the first Descendants. At 19 she was already one of the most beautiful women in the world. Asked my wife if I could print this off and hang it in my office. She said “Sure. But better hang it in the garage since that’s where you’ll be sleeping…” Indianapolis is expected to have snow Friday night, so I might need a blanket to keep warm out there. This one features Uma, Mal, and Evie. (Really enjoyed Boner’s post above of Renee Reyes. The captions are very relevant. I will say I like the term t-girl though as waay of indicated a special kind of lady. The first time I saw the word, it was on bobtgirls.com. Moderators. It’s OK! This is Miley from 2016. She’s 24. The 10th anniversary of “Hannah Montana.” Personally I think she’s one of the most beautiful women ever and one of my biggest "celebrity crushes." Also extremely underrated as an actress and singer. Maybe that man who “married” an anime character was right? This is Miley as “Ashley O” from “Black Mirror” a couple years ago. If you haven’t seen it, check it out! What did I just say about her? By the way my wife is a fan too (she used to watch Hannah Montana) and thinks the same thing as me. She says the “haters” are “fucking idiots.” We watched the “Black Mirror” episode together. My wife said: “She talks just like you, Andy.” “I drove all the way up to Zionsville and that big asshole said he liked my friends Hayley and Taylor.” “Guess I’ll go out with his friend...” Never really thought her “twerking” phase was a good idea. Although I did like “Wrecking Ball.” Maybe it’s because so many people tried “copying” it? (Fun Fact: Miley and Hayley both live in Franklin, Tennessee. They are close in age and Hayley was friends with Miley’s older sister Brandi when Paramore started. We visited Franklin last summer when we went on our “cross country” trip. My wife said “Maybe you will get lucky and run into your girlfriends.” But you already know I have friends that met Miley? It was during her “Wonder World” tour back in 2009. They asked me to go but I thought I was “too old.” Somehow they got passes to go backstage, like a “meet and greet” or something like that. I have seen the pictures and autographs. They couldn’t stop talking about it (yeah, rub it in…). They ALL said how beautiful she was and how friendly and nice. You will have to look her up and see for yourself because she was barely 17. Hint: Type in “wonder world tour nassau coliseum” that was the next stop after Indianapolis and Nassau Coliseum (former home of the NY Islanders) is just outside of NYC on Long Island so there are lots of pictures from it. I have remembered what my friends said every time I read something bad about Miley. I’ll take their word over TMZ or Life & Style any day. So, what does my wife think of my “close encounter”? It happened before we met. She thinks I was a “total dumbshit” for not going. What can I say, she was right as usual… Update: My wife just walked in. She thought Miley looked great but said "that skirt is really short." I said "No. It's the right length." I'm sleeping in the garage tonight... Have fun on your date with Miley!) The first picture is from the Black Mirror episode last year. God. Miley hosting “Saturday Night Live” for the first time. The date? March 5, 2011. I remember this how? It’s the day I got married. Yes really. No, not to Miley. Didn’t get to watch it that night. We were busy… From “So Undercover.” On the set with her Mom. She goes to work for the FBI to “guard the daughter of an important witness in an organized-crime case.” Does anyone here remember “Bangerz”? The tour? The giant tongue slide? “Wrecking Ball”? This is from MTV in early 2014. Here Miley “twerks” on a horse. Asked my wife if it would be OK if I played the horse… She said: “Well first of all you would have to be the ‘other end’ sweetie… and that horse would also have to spend the night in the garage.” Saved the best for last. These two are Miley with Mark Ronson performing “Nothing Breaks Like a Heart” on SNL about a year ago. But I know you don’t care about that… My wife said “they used tape.” I wondered how she would know… (Moderators: She’s at least 18 in all of these. Her birthday was November 23, 2010.
