Any surgeon who does SRS
as an orchi is part of the surgery.
You will need a psych letter giving the green light for it.
Plus you will need oestrogen every day for the rest of your life to avoid osteoporosis.

In the uk it costs up to ?2k = about $3k but I think the op is cheaper state-side.

Have you had psych counselling yet
as this is a pretty big step...

Well that was a waste of time:
I just googled the username sduyck_2001
http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=sdu...GLL_en___GB381

sduyck,
ignore the above stuff.
You go right ahead.
either use the same kit that ranchers use
or get a mistress to do it.
A knife heated on the stove is a good idea to cauterise the wound.
It won't hurt much at all.

Go on, live the dream

Not a waste of time. There is a good chance that someone will read this who is serious and the information will be helpful. Here and other places, I've answered question that I suspected were fueling some fantasy or fetish, but figured that the chance to help some lurker who to frightened or just didn't know the right words to use was more important.

Smile Orchidectomy in the UK

I have to take issue with your remark regarding orchidectomy in the UK. Sadly it is not possible on demand. The SRS route however IS open and possible, indeed well established, no doctor will do the orchidectomy, Thailand was really the only possibility up to now, but given the troubles that are being experienced, perhaps it is not the time.

My close friend Alison Faraday had an orchi some years ago.
Keeps them in a glass jar in the fridge & hands the jar to the unsuspecting
attention whore!

She was referred via Russell Reed her private shrink.
She showed me the paperwork involved...lots of it.
The surgeon required all sort of papers signed indemnifying him
& confirming that he was following Russell instructions.
Basically covering his back.

I had a chat with Stuart Lorrimer a shrink at charring cross.
He said surgeons don't like removing healthy tissue.
Then he said that with F2M's double mastectomies were commonplace and no surgeon resistance to doing that op.

I asked if that could be because most surgeons are male.
He grinned & nodded in agreement.

Orchiectomy is not recommanded if you want later transgender surgery
The scrotum skin is needed for vulvoplastia and, without testicles, the scrotum skin shrinks
So, beware before doing
And i know what i say about orchiectomy lol

Yep totally.
50% of SRS surgeons in the world will not accept a patient who has had an orchi.
The remainder want you to have srs within 3 to 4 years, so that the scrotal skin has not fully atrophied.

I know what I'm talking about, too.

Ok, so assuming you are a M 2 F pre-op Transsexual, & you want an
orchi. there are some considerations.

1. Is it an end point or do you intend to later have full
genital reassignment surgery / sex reassignment surgery
[GRS / SRS] in the future?
If you do, then a bi-lateral orchi looses you donor material for GRS.
For this reason, half the worlds GRS surgeons will not touch you if
you've had an orchi.
If it is a half way point, then the clock starts ticking as the donor
material starts to atrophy after 3 to 4 years, making GRS difficult,
or compromised (less vaginal depth) So, bringing in a ticking clock
into your decision process on GRS is not a good idea.

2. So you want an orchi, as an end point, & not as a stepping stone to
GRS. Ok....

Considerations
Why have an orchi?
a .Appearance...detesting testicles but ambivalent to your penis
b. To cut down on meds & resultant stress on liver
c. To reduce side effects of meds
d. To stop masculising effects of testosterone
e. To remove the need to take anti-androgens
f. Meds have had a detrimental & painful effect on your testicles, &
surgery is the only viable solution.

My reasons for planning an orchi are points a to e.

Other considerations
After an Orchi, you are at substantial risk of osteoporosis
& will require drugs to offset this risk, for the rest of your life.

How to proceed
First you require one or possibly two psychs to write a letter to
advise why an orchi is desirable & required. You may well struggle at
this first point. I've raised the question on the last two occasions
with my gender psychs. This resulted in vague answers, Humm....

You will require a psych to sign off on this, to cover the surgeon
against legal action in the future, if you then later regret it.

The surgeon will certainly require you to sign a letter which removes
said surgeon from any liability.

In the uk, Private surgery is ?1500 to ?2000. the price reflecting
whether its done under local or general anaesthetic.

Its usually a day surgery, not requiring an overnight stay.

Appearance.
A friend had an orchi, 4 years ago. The results look fantastic, just
totally right.

This is something I've been considering for about 4 years.
I've chatted to my friend about it, obviously, & also another, who had
surgery 6 yrs ago.

Do you still get hard & orgasm?

Yes in both cases, though it takes a lots longer to do both.
Obviously there is no seaman but a clear discharge at orgasm. This
stops after about two years.
I can relate to that as due to my level of meds, my previous large
volume of sperm is reduced often to either a clear liquid or no liquid
at all....Goody, saves on clean up tissues! ;-)

BTW, orgasms are as intense.

Note.
You may cease to have erections or they may tail off.
Possibly the same with orgasms as well.
I think much of this is as much to do with what's going on in your
head as much as whether you have testicles.

...As they say mileages may vary.

Please note, I have absolutely no medical training of ANY TYPE.
Before seriously considering acting on having an orchi, consult with
your psych. & health care providers. Its a major decision.

Jodie - that is super info and lots of good advice. This is one of the things I've been thinking about mostly b-e here with a healthy ambivalence to a.

I only posted it after you rightly pointed out that some readers
may find accurate info useful!

IMy take is based on the uk as thats where I am.
My understanding is that usa surgeons are the same in that they require a psych letter.

Most usa surgeons who specialise in SRS will do an orchi.
Prices from $1500, up.

Oh no...I'm sounding like one of those professional transsexuals!
which I most definitely am not! smiles...

I rather think that you were misled by my comment about the UK surgery on demand- I was coming from the wish for an orchidectomy to create a eunuch male and NOT to change gender. The latter TS route is quite open in the UK and also on the National Health, but for a straight elected male orchidectomy (as in my case) it does not seem to be possible either in the UK or many other countries.

Well, on a tg porn forum,
it is to be expected that people would assume talk about an orchi,
to revolve EXCLUSIVELY around persons altering physical anatomy & hormonal outcome to match their adopted gender.

Anyone should have the right to have any bit of their body lopped off
for whatever reason...
Assuming they can get a psych letter okey'ing it & a willing surgeon.

As to that person being able to obtain it free through the NHS, well that would never happen.

I can see how a non-ts person would be unlikely to get a private surgeon to agree to do it though.
It's like those people who have an arm or leg lopped off coz they don't like it
"Apotemnophilia is a condition that causes those who have it to not feel ?correct? in their own bodies. As a result, an intense obsession develops with removing the limb; this obsession hinders tremendously the patients' social behaviour and societal integration. These patients, in some respects resembling transgendered individuals, feel that the body part (limb) in question is simply ?not a part of themselves?, causing them to feel uncomfortable in their own bodies. Whether amputations should be performed on apotemnophiles or not is a question that poses a significant medical ethical dilemma. It is argued that observing an apotemnophile's request for amputation is the ethical action.

Also this:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apotemnophilia

A shemale porn site is not a place you would be likely to get any useful input
as your thing is a completely different bag, so to speak.
try googling
voluntary castration
for more useful sites for you.

Also,
The hijra of India may number as many as 2,000,000,
So look at india + surgeons as there will be a lot there who do orchis
unconnected to gender dysphoria.

Good luck.

I used burdizzo on my self, more info on eunuch.org website. My t level is 130ng/dl,am trying to post pic results of testicle size( file size for jpeg needs to be decreased) with no HRT penis is about 3.5 inches (8cm) and no erections. Left testicle 1/2 inch x 3/4 inch and right testicle 1" x 1 1/2".

On eunuch.org website read about hemotoma issues. Had to keep pressure for long time to prevent this. Name on eunuch.org is spacecase9128

Hope this helps
