Default An interesting question

I want some opinions here. I'm wondering if one is gay if they like shemale porn. I've heard from some transexuals that it does make you gay, but I've heard from some "professionals" that it doesn't make you gay cause gay men hate femininity and are attracted to masculinity, and most gay men hate transsexual porn. So what is your opinions on that?

I don't think it make one gay because like you say it is the femininity that someone who likes transsexuals is attracted to.

Okay, I thought so. I'm also looking for an answer from a transsexual too if I can too. Thanks for the answer.

Gee wasn't this question already asked a short time ago? I don't think you're gay, for one thing i think and act like a girl so therefore any guy that likes me likes girls plain and simple. I consider myself female and almost every other Tgirls considers themselves female so your not gay Jennifer

Gay.. not gay... the #1 question and mind-fuck for guys who like gals like me.

First, does it matter if you are gay?

Second, it would depend on how you view people like me, am I a guy with tits, or a woman with a penis (I have my own answer to that one)?

My answer to your question: Human sexuality is complicated and vague and always changing. Labels are good for a kind of mental shorthand, but fail when applied to real people in a real world.

Or - bi, bi, BI?
That needs clarification too. It appears that most guys who are attracted to LBs are not attracted to guys. LBs, themselves, state that from their experience of guys, as do lots of guys on this forum, and elsewhere. They're adamant. But then there's the question of 'cock' or, particularly, that strange allure of feminity-plus-cock. Cock is definitely in there. Read the posts. It's 'writ' pretty large. Strictly speaking, 'bi' means 'swinging both ways' - guys and girls. But LB-loving guys state they're not interested in screwing or sucking or fondling a male. So, in that sense, they're not bi. But no bio - um, 'bi-o' - female has a cock and 'straight' guys state they're only interested in one thing -'pussy' (and a relationship with women which may or may not lead to marriage and children and a life of domestic bliss - which is not meant to imply that solid, quality relationships can't happen between LBs/TGs and non-gay guys or that, some time in the future, if not now, they might, if they wish adopt a child (a politico-ethical tangle).)
So where are we with our terms?
The extra difficulty is, guys also make the comment here that they're not interested in LBs who have 'trans-gendered', i.e. no longer have a cock which, again, points to that appendage being fundamentally important to them.
Here's another question - what if you found a 'bio' (for want of a better expression) woman with a clitoris 4-5-6 inches long which had a glans just like a penis. No balls, of course. Would that person do?
My guess is - no..it's not a guy.

Well guys and girls,

this is a qurestion that will never be answered to anyone's satisfaction. As new people join the community they will, sooner or later, start to ask these type questions.

The point is, for a straight man being considered gay is something he would want to avoid under all circumstances. Certainly I would, because I cannot imagine any kind of sexual contact with an adult male, the only exception being if he were young enough or definitely feminine.

It's of no interest to me what others think of me. It's how I perceive myself and I don't want to consider myself gay. But I happily concede to every man to be gay!

That said it's not so much the physical aspects but the male behaviour and way of thinking and acting. A woman has quite a different nature and the more a guy tends toward that female nature the sooner I could consider sexual contacts.

As far as T-girls are concerned, I love T-girls. I may even say I am addicted to T-girls. They fascinate me because they are, from my point of view, definitely women and they have this wonderful extra gift that I love equally much. It makes them so very special. That's why T-girls once they have gone through an SRS i.e once they have their penis removed are not of interest to me any more.

Summarizing it: No, I am NOT gay but I could very well imagine being happily married to a T-girl.

Does that make any sense? Maybe I'm talking rubbish.

Anyway,

Have fun!

Default Gay?

I Say No on the gay thing. I do not consider myself to be "Gay". I am not actively looking for TG company. I just enjoy the pornography. And I dont personally believe contact to be "Gay" or make you "Gay". I know guys that will gang bang a girl, they are not "Gay". It's a tough one, Really.

Oh, Bionca. You have opened Pandora's Box there! :D

I agree, by the way.

If labels *are* just labels, and if people are inclined to use them as people generally do, then we're ALL gay.

I don't know why people have such a struggle over this issue. Bruce Lee: "truth exists outside all molds; pattern and awareness is never exclusive."

L-DOG:

Just pulling your chain, dude.

You're on the hetero side of bi, and you move closer to bi by degrees of interest and physical activity. True bi is sleeping w/ both sexes equally, and that means dudes as dudes. Only being turned on by t-girls w/o any physical contact makes you a bi-curious hetero.

If you wouldn't like her before the boob job, you're probably not gay.

If you wouldn't like her after SRS, you're probably not straight.

Liking shemale porn either makes you some kind of bisexual, or it makes you a taboo chaser. You might like other kinds of "weird" porn (BBW, watersports, BDSM, lactation, whatever) for no other reason than that it's kinky.

Genetic females tend to be more fluid with their sexuality. They might fool around with some girls in college and never really think about it again. They often don't even like looking at porn, and their sexual fantasies are more self-involved than directed at doing something specific to a specific person. Genetic males are very visual and their sexuality is a more wired-in drive. It's difficult for them to be truly bisexual.

I wish I could remember what study it was that I read about a few years ago. There was a study done where straight men were given a functional MRI on their brain while shown porn. Straight porn lit up the basic hunger/longing/need/anticipation parts of their brain. Gay porn registered as a threat response as though the viewer's life was actually in danger from witnessing gay sex. Women do not have those reactions to porn (yet have similar brain activity when asked to discuss an important relationship).

Anyway, my point is that people who like porn, and M2F girls, both seem to be much closer to a true bisexual. The problem, though, is that tranny chasers aren't forced to confront their feelings, and they can be very homophobic and self-loathing themselves. They'll try very hard to pick up a tgirl in a bar, but will rarely show her any respect. If she does put out, the guy will often flake out as soon as he cums because he's overwhelmed by guilt. Oh, and that makes a girl feel real good when she can see that "WHAT THE HELL HAVE I DONE???" look in a guy's eye as soon as he gets off.

But my point is that if you're worried about being gay, you're probably not. I hang out at gay bars most weekends, and gay guys just aren't attracted to guys in skirts or trannies. They want real guys. For the most part, that is ... I know a few queens who have gotten boob jobs and FFS and electrolysis who date gay guys, but that's rare.

By the same token, if you're totally in love with cock and you think, "Hey, I'm not gay because I don't think guys are hot," well ... There are a lot of gay guys who will tell you that the female form is more beautiful than the male form -- except maybe for a few of those Spartans in 300.

But even the word bisexual isn't that good. I don't think it really speaks to the TG community. We might have gotten a T stuck on the end of LGBT, but tgirls are not respected the way the L and the G are. A lot of people in gay bars still think we're freaks. On top of that, even in such a minority that you would think would be accepting, shemales have trouble fitting in. A lot of the TS community refuse to take a tgirl seriously -- even if she has boobs and is on estrogen -- unless she's on testosterone blockers and wants to eventually have her junk removed.

RACQUEL, baby doll:

What city are you from?

Why all the hype for drag queen beauty contests in gay bars?

Yes, I've seen the gay guy who doesn't want a sweetie in panties or a skirt, but I've seen a t-girl acquaintance from my San Francisco days who had gay guys all over her in an after-hours gay bar. I'm just trying to make sense of a sort of contradiction.

Sweet kisses,

TAL

Talvenada:

I get to Dayton and Columbus a lot, and Cinci now and then.

It is a little silly how many gay bars have drag shows. It's nice to find a cool place to hang out at that doesn't have a drag show every weekend, although I do know a lot of really cool queens.

Well, that depends what you mean by "all over." Some of my best friends are gay guys, and I would say they hang all over me, and I've even made out with a few of them very publicly, but I don't think there's a whole lot of relationship potential there.

Notice a lot of drag queens really go overboard saying they don't actually want to be women. It's always, "I just like to perform." They're trying to man up a little for the gay guys.

RACQUEL:

All over her in a gay bar means 2 guys on each side of her on a lounge section putting the make on her for that evening, Tracy could pass to the point of making people, like me, who hadn't seen her naked question her gender.

My point was about gay guys not pursuing t-girls they don't know for any reason.

I do agree that relationships are better than just casual sex, but that's just me.

Tender kisses,

I like your reply, racquel.

That makes sense, especially the last bit. Until recently, gay males were
illegitimized (they may still be) by the dominant hetero-sexual culture whose 'psycho-biology' is powerfully procreative and states, outright, that anything else is 'unnatural'..and..'you'll burn in hell (religion.)'
I can easily imagine some poor student, or other, feeling panic and stress when his brain pleasure centre lights up in the lab and his nob twitches while watching guys (or ladyboys) having it off. It's a public event. He might not feel the same reaction in the privacy of his own or some other person's room.

Cool bi, ts, gay?

Hi everyone,
The story at shemale stories that I wrote (Charlie and Khloe) has a proposed solution to the human male - female dilemma. Check it out.

Personally, I wouldn't stress about it - the most important thing to me is to focus on what makes you happy. I love looking at LBs, but don't ever look at men - I don't worry about whether I am gay, bi, straight, whatever, I just enjoy my sexuality.

I think the problem is too many people think of it as being a black or white situation, but I believe that human sexuality is full of lots of greyscale. For a long time I wondered if I was gay or straight, until I finally realized that the question itself is irrelevant. I'm attracted to some people and not to others. Some of those people are male, most are female, and a good portion fit somewhere in between. I've finally learned to appreciate, and enjoy my sexuality.

Well said Leggman, for me it's mostly about fantasy,
I've never experienced a girl with a cock but both fascinate me.
I don't think of myself as gay but the rest of the world probably would if they knew my private thoughts.
I'm not the least bit attracted to men, only women
and yet cocks turn me on (go figure)
