Beware: FAKE Amy Amore online

I actually meant to throw this up a short while ago, but I got caught up in some things and forgot. However, tonight when I logged in, I saw that the old AMY AMORE photo thread was active, so it jostled my memory. Anyway, just an FYI for any Amy fans out there...

I have a friend who performs on cam, at I'M LIVE, that I chat with every so often to see how she's doing. However, recently when I logged in my eyes popped. That's because I saw a profile Amy. At first I was amazed, but then I thought "Well, lots of porn stars do cam work these days. And Areeya and Bianca Friere perform on cam. Given the per minute rate they charge, the money is clearly very good. So I guess it makes sense that Amy might try it." So, being an Amy fan, I thought I'd see "what" she was like. After all, I've read all sorts of stories about her both good and bad. Some say she's genuinely sweet and nice, some say she's stuck up and only interested in money. I figured I would find out for myself...

When I entered the chat room, I could instantly SEE it was Amy. I mean, there she was lying in bed with a blanket up to her chest. Her head was turned and she was holding a remote, as she watched a TV. But there was no mistaking that face -- it was definitely Amy. However, the moment I said "hello" is when I realized something was wrong. As I started to chat, there was an instant reply. Then I said something else...and got another instant reply. In other words, I was obviously holding a chat with someone, but Amy was in bed watching TV with NO keyboard in front of her -- yet words were appearing on my screen. When I asked how such a magic trick was possible, the person on the other end replied "I'm Amy's assistant. Amy doesn't speak English very good, so you can talk to me."

Well, that struck me as odd. Simply because from the clips I've seen of Amy, it's clear she has no problem with English. And then things got even fishier. It suddenly dawned on me that the room looked awfully familiar -- like it belonged to a film clip I had seen. So, I said to the assistant "Well, that's okay. I'll talk through you. But it would be nice to have her paying attention. Can she at least wave to the cam? Can she at least say hello?" With that, the assistant started to stall for time, which is a basic trick of all cam performers. After all, the time that a performer's cam is open & running = customer money spent & earned. So, the assistant started asking ridiculous questions to stall even more: "What do you mean wave? Wave how? What do you mean say hello? Say hello how? I don't understand. Talk to me more. How are you? Where are you from? Before we start, tell me more about you."

I repeated my request for a wave hello, and it was clear I had rattled this so-called assistant. She realized I was asking for proof that this was not a film loop, which is another trick cam performers love to pull. She quickly typed "You caught us at the end of the day. Amy is tired. We have to go now" -- and then she instantly logged off. I called I'M LIVE customer service right after that. I told them it was my belief this was (1) possibly the real Amy, but doing a pretty shitty job of performing or (2) it was clearly an impostor running film clips, trying to make money off Amy's famous name and face.

Ironically, the customer service agent that I dealt with immediately had her own warning antenna go up. She said, "Wait a minute! I remember seeing the paperwork to open this account just the other day. But I'm not sure if anyone actually verified it. I'll have an administrator visit her chat room, and they'll do the same thing that you tried to do. An administrator will verify cam-to-cam that this person is live and IS the real Amy." And to their credit, I'M LIVE not only refunded my money, but even tossed in a few bucks for my trouble as well. Which was great. Cheapskate that I am, it now meant I could visit my online friend for free

Anyway, here are the links to this FAKE Amy. Based on her profiles, it seems that she hasn't been back for a bit, so maybe she got snagged or scared off or whatever. All the same, if there are any cam fans out there...and if you should stumble on these profiles...be warned. This person is a FAKE and is NOT the real Amy and you should NOT give her any money.

Thanks, CreativeMind. I think though that Amy goes by the name Amy Amour and not Amore. I'll look for the link, it's posted somewhere on this site, to verify this.

She definitely goes by the name Amy Amour. Beware if you find a variation of the spelling.
