Default Happy Valentine's Day tomorrow

I think when Frank wrote this he might have had our trans women in mind. Don't change a thing for us, please.

: heart:

Frank Sinatra My Funny Valentine Lyrics
Songwriters: SCHLITZ, DON
Writer(s): rodgers/hart

My funny valentine
Sweet comic valentine
You make me smile with my heart
Your looks are laughable
Unphotographable
Yet you're my favourite work of art

Is your figure less than greek
Is your mouth a little weak
When you open it to speak
Are you smart?

But don't change a hair for me
Not if you care for me
Stay little valentine stay
Each day is valentines day

Is your figure less than greek
Is your mouth a little weak
When you open it to speak
Are you smart?

But don't you change one hair for me
Not if you care for me
Stay little valentine stay
Each day is valentines day

Frank Sinatra had ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with writing "My Funny Valentine." He only recorded it as a signer (as have hundreds of other recording artists). Nor did "SCHLITZ, DON" -- who you incorrectly identify as the songwriter -- have a hand in its creation. The song is by Richard Rodgers (music) and Lorenz Hart (lyricist) from their 1937 musical "Babes in Arms."

I love the song, and its creators deserve to be identified correctly.

Other than that, thanks for posting the lyrics.

Default gaaaah

I am sorry, I cut and pasted from a lyrics site and misstated the writer, AND I knew better. The credits are just before the lyrics begin.
Thanks.
