I still remember her. She had a very short blue nightgown on and great legs. She was standing with her head back and her hand looked like it was brushing her hair. Her legs were apart. Afterward I was so scared that I might have come on my mom's catalog... Death would have been the result. God, I didn’t realize my memory was that good…

Jean Shrimpton’s modeling career predates me by at least several years! If I had known of her I probably would have cut those pages out and put them on the wall of my room. My biggest “crushes” in the 80’s were Christie Brinkley, Heather Thomas, Nancy Wilson, and Debbie Gibson (the 80's "Hannah Montana" LOL). I got to meet Heather at something I went to with my dad. Maybe ’87 or ’88. This was long after “Fall Guy.” She was super sweet and I was totally in awe of her. I still have the autographed pic. I’m sure she thought a certain 7 or 8 year old was quite the precocious little shit…

The period from maybe the forties through the eighties is perhaps the “great” era of glamour. Maybe that’s why we enjoy so many of the drag queens—they bring back the femininity and sexuality of that time.

I really identify with this, Andy. I used to steal my parents' clothing catalogs too!

You're right. In the "good old days" a boy had to creative in finding jack off material. No internet and being too young to buy magazines like Playboy and Penthouse had me looking all over for, uhhh, "inspiration". There was some stuff on TV like sexy music videos but it was hard to catch them. I think my favorite at the time was the "I'm Your Venus" video from Bannarama. I would go crazy with lust over the girl in the Devil costume. Here's a link to that awesome video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NkcU2_Vs7Xw

Christie Brinkley was another favorite, along with some of the Sports Illustrated swimsuit models. I had a Christie Brinkley calendar (1984 maybe?) that had a shot of her in a gold one piece bathing suit. God how I loved that picture!

I totally identified with your worrying about ruining your mom's catalog. I had a similar experience with my folks. They were big opera fans and I remember finding a stack of Opera News back issues in the attic one day. A lot of people think it's just fat ladies but let me tell you there are some stunningly beautiful women that sing opera too! I jacked off to those magazines all through adolescence.

So yeah, it's no surprise I like drag queens.
