Ok I finally got out my folding wood style measuring rule the other night. I placed it at my pubic bone along and atop my erection and it measures a hair(no pun intended) over 7". I have a very modest 'arc/bend' so I sort of leveled it. Now you experts tell me. Was that the proper way? Is it the average length? Did I cheat by my method?
