Unfortunately, here is some bad news. The Flyers lost 3-2 to Washington in overtime today. The refs called a penalty in overtime to allow Washington to score the game winner. Earlier in the game they called a 4-minute double minor to Pronger for a high-stick(which sounds like it was called for), so Philly was playing short-handed for quite a while during the last parts of the game.
Hopefully it will cheer you up that Edmonton beat Chicago 2-1. Chicago is not even a shadow of the team that it was last season. If they continue to play like this they won't be repeating champs, that is for sure! |
