I still have a sex drive (though it is much more psychological than chemical) and I am still able to get erect when I'm turned on without the aid of boner meds. Sometimes I've used viagra on shoots and I've had mixed experiences. I get nice and hard, but I also turn bright red and my ears are hot. Regardless, if you are castrated you can still have orgasms, but you probably won't be able to ejaculate. I don't really mind this since I enjoy the pleasure of the orgasm, and can have multiples. It's only a bummer when my fans are upset.
Anyways, I'm not going to tel you what to do with your body, or psycho-analyze your reasons for doing so, but I will say that getting castrated will profoundly change your life in ways that you may not be prepared for.
You will have to take calcium supplements, as well as deal with giving yourself hormone injections for the rest of your life (the body needs some kind of hormone). Your mind will change, and you will become a different person.
